Acupuncture - Herbal Medicine - Massage
specialist in musculoskeletal conditions, infertility, back, neck & joint pain and migrainesDaniel Saulwick
Hello my names is Daniel Saulwick.
I have practiced Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in Castlemaine for the last 18 years.
My training
I studied at the Sydney College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed the four-year training in 1992. This included a one-semester internship at the Hang Zhou Red Cross Hospital in China. After graduation I spent a year in the practice of Steven Clavey observing and training in Chinese Herbal Gynaecology.
I then worked in Melbourne at the Greville Street Clinic and moved to Castlemaine in 1994 and established a clinic.
How I work
In the initial consultation I use traditional methods to diagnose a clients illness. These include taking the pulse and examining the tongue as well as asking questions to establish a full case history. In the case of muscular problems I will examine the area to see were there is muscle tension.
I use a combination of techniques that include:

When treating with Acupuncture I tend to include massage in the treatment as I find this is helpful to increase the flow of energy.
All needles used in the clinic are sterile disposable needles.
The clinic has a full dispensary of Raw Herbs for the preparation of individual formulas. I also have herbs are also available in pill form for those that don’t want to prepare the raw herbs. .
