Live and dry blood Analysis via HIGH RESOLUTION BLOOD MORPHOLOGY using The Bradford Variable Projection Medical Microscopy System (BVPMMS) is a screening test she uses during her naturopathic consultations. This tool is designed to remove guesswork and trial and error methods from selecting appropriate vitamin, mineral, herbal and anti-oxidant supplements; so supplements that are actually needed are prescribed.
By observing deviations from normal in the blood, a scientifically based vitamin, mineral and herbal supplement program can be formulated along with dietary and lifestyle recommendations. This program is aimed at restoring the blood to its ideal state, which then helps the body restore and normalize physiologic function and health.
By addressing underlying biochemical, physiologic and organ weakness and disturbance; health, mood and wellbeing can be favourably impacted.
During the naturopathic consultation, your health concerns are discussed in detail. A naturopathic prescription then directs you to supplements needed most to address specific issues revealed in your blood assessment, and also to supplements that can assist you in aging healthily for the long haul.
The Bradford Variable Projection Medical Microscopy System (BVPMMS) is unique in its ability to magnify an image in your blood up to 18,000x and keep the details sharp. This lets you see very small phenomena in your blood very clearly e.g red cells, cell membranes, platelets, white blood cells, yeast forms, bacteria and plaque.
The HLB dry test assesses the oxidative foot print, a reflection of free radical activity, toxicity and physiologic disruption in your body. It can indicate more serious changes in the body and early detection allows judicious intervention if required. If a more serious condition is suspected, you will be referred to your doctor for further investigation. In the case of a disease process, the HLB dry test can monitor the adaptive and regenerative response of the body during medical and naturopathic management. This allows you to fine tune supportive therapies and to assess whether your organ reserve and integrity is being re-established; in other words to see if your therapy is working.
To collect your blood, the tip of the finger is pricked and capillary blood is collected and examined. Your blood is viewed Live (the closest representation of your blood as it flows in your vascular system) at 18,000 x magnification, and Dry to analyse coagulated (clotted) morphology.
