Who is Echidna Acupuncture?
Nikki Hunt completed her Advanced Diploma in Health Science and then completed further an internship in 3 hospitals in Nanning China. She then completed her Bachelor of Health Science Acupuncture in Brisbane. Since then Nikki is the Director of Echidna Acupuncture, a specialist boutique practice in Wooloowin, Brisbane. Offering services of Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Remedial Massage, Transformational Healing and Counselling.
Nikki has also completed Post-graduate training in several of the Japanese Meridian Therapy protocols (Manaka and Toyohari). She has completed certificates in Shonishin Japanese Paediatric Acupuncture Therapy and Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal ™ taught by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield from Chi-Akra Center, New York (USA).
Before training in Acupuncture Nikki worked as a counsellor, particularly with youth and within the mental health field. She is renowned for her compassionate nature, her nurturing approach. She has also been a golfer for 30+ years and plays off a handicap of 4. She continues to search in all the ancient acupuncture classics for the acupuncture point that will make her a better putter!
Nikki has recently started tutoring at the Endeavour College of Natural Medicine, sharing her experience and learning from future acupuncture practitioners.

105 Adamson Street Wooloowin (2mins walk from the Wooloowin train station)
We treat after hours and weekends by appointment. Same day appointments are sometimes available; however, it is preferable to make an appointment in order to secure your preferred time.
Health fund rebates are available. Please check with your health fund that you can claim on our services.
We have EFTPOS, Visa Card and Master Card facilities. And accept cash and cheques.
