Meet Our Team
Ann Fallows
Homoeopathy, Remedial Massage and Reflexology

Ann combines the soft and gentle swedish massage with the firmer pressure of remedial techniques to relax and release restricted muscles and tissues. Acupressure points and reflexology are also utilised to free the body of blockages, toxins and stress patterns. Pain and discomfort are released restoring you to a more peaceful, restful and revitalized state of wellbeing.

Homoeopathic medicine treat’s disease by investigating the underlying causative factors and the individual’s response to those factors. Whether the disease is acute or chronic, my approach is to gently guide you to the sensations, feelings and emotional patterns held within you. When brought to your awareness and released with the best selected homoepathic medicine, the physical, emotional and mental states of your body are then prepared to function at their best. The combination of therapies I utilise will assist you to discover the essence and source of the illness that lies within you and restore you to a more vibrant, healthy and resilient self.

Christine Pope
Homeopath and Nutritionist

After fifteen years working in Investment Banking as a fulltime working mother of two Christine has experienced first hand the impact of a stressful lifestyle. A long time interest and use of natural therapies led her to study for four years at Nature Care College where she finished an Advanced Diploma of Homeopathy as well as certificates in Coaching and Counseling and a Diploma in Nutrition. After assisting at Harbord Homeopathic Clinic, which specialises in children and family medicine, Christine established a practice at St Ives in 2006. She is also lecturing at Nature Care College in Homeopathy and is Treasurer of the Australian Homeopathic Association.

With two children who are both lactose intolerant, good nutrition and homeopathy have been fundamental to maintaining their health. Like her approach in practice Christine combines a healthy diet plan with the appropriate supplements taking into account any health problems or special needs. To assist families in building good health Christine runs regular First Aid Workshops to teach the use of homeopathic medicines and nutritional supplements to treat a range of common illnesses such as coughs, colds fevers, flu and stomach upsets. Recently one of her clients travelled to the Middle East and using her small homeopathic first aid kit managed to treat her four children’s health problems easily and effectively. These included headaches, sore throats, jet lag and period pain.

Conny Pulvermacher
Integrative Therapy, Kinesiology, Craniosacral, Myofacial

Conny combines the gentle, non-invasive approach of craniosacral therapy with myofascial release, positional release, acupressure, kinesiology and remedial massage to facilitate the integration of experience at multiple levels.

Deeply held emotional habits often translate into physical holding patterns: these can cause chronic and often debilitating pain or fatigue. The combination of the above therapies can engage those patterns gently to free the inertia held within them and facilitate the system towards more resilient balance and a healthier state-of-being.

Craniosacral therapy is a process-oriented approach to body work, guiding the body’s innate intelligence towards the resources it holds at its core: inherent health and the ability to transform trauma and overwhelm towards balance (homeostasis). In combination with direct connective tissue oriented myofascial release work, as well as the electrical support and balancing that acupressure offers to the body, craniosacral therapy can contribute significantly towards the gradual emergence of a better integrated, calmer and healthier emotional and physical body.

Hailin Cheng
Manual Lymph Drainage

Hailin has specialised in lymphoedema treatment for more than 6 years. Hailin is certified in Dr Vodder therapy, which is internationally recognised for treatment of lymphoedema. She is a registered lymphoedema practitioner in Australasia. Lymphoedema or swelling or oedema in the tissues can result from injuries, accidents or surgery. Radiotherapy is damaging to the lymph nodes and vessels and may cause hardening of the tissues and skin. This reduces the ability of the lymph system to clear fluid and may result in swelling. Hailin’s treatment can assist in managing and improving symptoms such as restricted movemement, swelling, pressure, heaviness and tingling.

Ros Scott-Mackenzie
Remedial Massage

Ros is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Nature Care College. As a massage therapist, Ros aims to empower and focus your health and wellbeing by connecting the body and mind. Whether you require a deep, firm massage to restore function in tight, sore areas; or a massage to de-stress, balance and rejuvenate, treatments can be tailored to meet your needs. Ros’s key focus is to promote the body’s natural healing processes through the reconnection of the body with the mind and soul.

Ros believes in working with clients to design treatments that combine techniques to complement their health plan and assist their body with repairing itself. Ros is accredited with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society, insured and registered with most health funds.

Vanessa Malone

Vanessa Malone is a registered Sydney Osteopath with 28 years clinical experience in private practice. She has completed extensive post-graduate studies which include Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Neuromusculoskeletal Pain Management and Pilates Teaching for Rehabilitation.

Vanessa’s practice focuses on the basic osteopathic principles of restoring function to the body’s mechanics (muscles ,connective tissues and joints) to make it work more more efficiently and help prevent further pain, stiffness, injury and “wear and tear”.

Vanessa uses a combination of gentle techniques depending on what is required for your condition. These will include a combination of procedures such as: massage, myofascial release, trigger point inhibition, muscle energy techniques, and craniosacral therapy combined with acupuncture, dry needling, articulation and mobilization of the joints to restore balance between the musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, lymphatic and gastrointestinal systems of the body.

Rebecca Hollingsworth

Rebecca qualified as an Osteopath in 2001 at Victoria University. Since then she has attended various post-graduate coursessuch as biodynamic craniosacral therapy, pediatrics and clinical pilates. While in Adelaide, Rebecca served on the board of Chiropractors and Osteopaths.

Rebecca has treated professionals in many different sports over the years such as AFL, basketball, cricket, water polo and swimming. She is dedicated to educating sports people in the benefits of Osteopathy as an effective treatment as well as prevention of injury. She can help with flexibility and pain and stiffness in all sports.

Being a musician, Rebecca has a special interest in treating pain in musicians and working to correct postural problems to prevent pain and injury. Rebecca is especially interested in treating spinal pain, postural issues, babies & children, pregnancy and musicians.

Osteopathy is a treatment, which looks at your whole body, taking all the systems into account. Rebecca uses a variety of gentle techniques directed at improving and correcting the mechanics of your body to bring the systems back into balance. If the structure of your body is aligned and free to move, then it will function a lot better. Its like your car, if it is not working well mechanically, then it will not function well. Your Osteopath is like a mechanic for your body.

Vanita Ogden

“In my treatments I attempt to restore health and optimize the functional physiology , restoring healthy balance, both mechanically and therefore functionally.”

Osteopaths have a number of treatment techniques at their fingertips to treat such injuries with an understanding of anatomy and biomechanics as well as feeling for functional change through palpation (touch) which allows them to diagnose problems even when they are away from the area in pain. Through this diagnosis they are then able to use an assortment of techniques to restore functionality, re-align structures by using specific articulation, soft tissue, muscle resistance and manipulation as well as cranial osteopathy.

Cranial Osteopathy is used by Vanita as a treatment that encourages release of stresses within the body, this may be directly on cranial sutures or the relationship between cranial bones, it also works with the fluidity of the body structures so that integration is enhanced.

Vanita Graduated in 1985 from European School Of Osteopathy Kent, UK in 1985. Graduated as Lic. Of Acupuncture from British College of Acupuncture London. Bsc. Hons. Conversion course with Westminster Univerisity and V.U.T. in 2000
