Meet Our Team
Homeopath and Nutritionist
After fifteen years working in Investment Banking as a fulltime working mother of two Christine has experienced first hand the impact of a stressful lifestyle. A long time interest and use of natural therapies led her to study for four years at Nature Care College where she finished an Advanced Diploma of Homeopathy as well as certificates in Coaching and Counseling and a Diploma in Nutrition. After assisting at Harbord Homeopathic Clinic, which specialises in children and family medicine, Christine established a practice at St Ives in 2006. She is also lecturing at Nature Care College in Homeopathy and is Treasurer of the Australian Homeopathic Association.
With two children who are both lactose intolerant, good nutrition and homeopathy have been fundamental to maintaining their health. Like her approach in practice Christine combines a healthy diet plan with the appropriate supplements taking into account any health problems or special needs. To assist families in building good health Christine runs regular First Aid Workshops to teach the use of homeopathic medicines and nutritional supplements to treat a range of common illnesses such as coughs, colds fevers, flu and stomach upsets. Recently one of her clients travelled to the Middle East and using her small homeopathic first aid kit managed to treat her four children’s health problems easily and effectively. These included headaches, sore throats, jet lag and period pain.
Vanessa Malone is a registered Sydney Osteopath with 31 years clinical experience in private practice. She has completed extensive post-graduate studies which include Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Neuromusculoskeletal Pain Management, Pilates Teaching for Rehabilitation and Ergonomic Risk Assessments.
Vanessa’s practice focuses on the basic osteopathic principles of restoring function to the body’s mechanics (muscles ,connective tissues and joints) to make it work more more efficiently and help prevent further pain, stiffness, injury and “wear and tear”.
Vanessa uses a combination of gentle techniques depending on what is required for your condition. These will include a combination of procedures such as: massage, myofascial release, trigger point inhibition, muscle energy techniques, and craniosacral therapy combined with acupuncture, dry needling, articulation and mobilization of the joints to restore balance between the musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, lymphatic and gastrointestinal systems of the body.
Integrative Therapy, Kinesiology, Craniosacral, Myofacial
Conny combines the gentle, non-invasive approach of craniosacral therapy with myofascial release, positional release, acupressure, kinesiology and remedial massage to facilitate the integration of experience at multiple levels.
Deeply held emotional habits often translate into physical holding patterns: these can cause chronic and often debilitating pain or fatigue. The combination of the above therapies can engage those patterns gently to free the inertia held within them and facilitate the system towards more resilient balance and a healthier state-of-being.
Craniosacral therapy is a process-oriented approach to body work, guiding the body’s innate intelligence towards the resources it holds at its core: inherent health and the ability to transform trauma and overwhelm towards balance (homeostasis). In combination with direct connective tissue oriented myofascial release work, as well as the electrical support and balancing that acupressure offers to the body, craniosacral therapy can contribute significantly towards the gradual emergence of a better integrated, calmer and healthier emotional and physical body.
Manual Lymph Drainage
Hailin has specialised in lymphoedema treatment for more than 6 years. Hailin is certified in Dr Vodder therapy, which is internationally recognised for treatment of lymphoedema. She is a registered lymphoedema practitioner in Australasia. Lymphoedema or swelling or oedema in the tissues can result from injuries, accidents or surgery. Radiotherapy is damaging to the lymph nodes and vessels and may cause hardening of the tissues and skin. This reduces the ability of the lymph system to clear fluid and may result in swelling. Hailin’s treatment can assist in managing and improving symptoms such as restricted movement, swelling, pressure, heaviness and tingling.

Brad’s practice focuses on the basic osteopathic principles of restoring function to the mechanics of the body (the muscles, joints and connective tissues) This in turn, helps it work more efficiently and therefore helps to prevent pain, stiffness, injuries and “wear and tear”.
A combination of safe, gentle and effective Osteopathic techniques will be used (massage, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, stretching, trigger point inhibition, therapy, mobilization of the joints and exercise therapy) to help restore balance between the musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, lymphatic and gastrointestinal systems of the body.
Brad’s Osteopathic approach is influenced by his background in holistic personal training as well as CHEK exercise and lifestyle coaching. He considers all facets of a healthy lifestyle such as thoughts, breathing, hydration, nutrition, exercise and recovery / relaxation. He looks at treating the whole person- your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual challenges and will develop an exercise and lifestyle program that is truly individualised for you.
