Elemental Health
Ann McAfee
Homoeopathy, Remedial Massage and Reflexology
Ann combines the soft and gentle swedish massage with the firmer pressure of remedial techniques to relax and release restricted muscles and tissues. Acupressure points and reflexology are also utilised to free the body of blockages, toxins and stress patterns. Pain and discomfort are released restoring you to a more peaceful, restful and revitalized state of wellbeing.
Homoeopathic medicine treat’s disease by investigating the underlying causative factors and the individual’s response to those factors. Whether the disease is acute or chronic, my approach is to gently guide you to the sensations, feelings and emotional patterns held within you. When brought to your awareness and released with the best selected homoepathic medicine, the physical, emotional and mental states of your body are then prepared to function at their best. The combination of therapies I utilise will assist you to discover the essence and source of the illness that lies within you and restore you to a more vibrant, healthy and resilient self.
Christine Pope
Homeopath and Nutritionist
After fifteen years working in Investment Banking as a fulltime working mother of two Christine has experienced first hand the impact of a stressful lifestyle. A long time interest and use of natural therapies led her to study for four years at Nature Care College where she finished an Advanced Diploma of Homeopathy as well as certificates in Coaching and Counseling and a Diploma in Nutrition. After assisting at Harbord Homeopathic Clinic, which specialises in children and family medicine, Christine established a practice at St Ives in 2006. She is also lecturing at Nature Care College in Homeopathy and is Treasurer of the Australian Homeopathic Association.
With two children who are both lactose intolerant, good nutrition and homeopathy have been fundamental to maintaining their health. Like her approach in practice Christine combines a healthy diet plan with the appropriate supplements taking into account any health problems or special needs. To assist families in building good health Christine runs regular First Aid Workshops to teach the use of homeopathic medicines and nutritional supplements to treat a range of common illnesses such as coughs, colds fevers, flu and stomach upsets. Recently one of her clients travelled to the Middle East and using her small homeopathic first aid kit managed to treat her four children’s health problems easily and effectively. These included headaches, sore throats, jet lag and period pain.
Conny combines the gentle, non-invasive approach of craniosacral therapy with myofascial release, positional release, acupressure, kinesiology and remedial massage to facilitate the integration of experience at multiple levels.
Deeply held emotional habits often translate into physical holding patterns: these can cause chronic and often debilitating pain or fatigue. The combination of the above therapies can engage those patterns gently to free the inertia held within them and facilitate the system towards more resilient balance and a healthier state-of-being.
Craniosacral therapy is a process-oriented approach to body work, guiding the body’s innate intelligence towards the resources it holds at its core: inherent health and the ability to transform trauma and overwhelm towards balance (homeostasis). In combination with direct connective tissue oriented myofascial release work, as well as the electrical support and balancing that acupressure offers to the body, craniosacral therapy can contribute significantly towards the gradual emergence of a better integrated, calmer and healthier emotional and physical body.
Hailin Cheng Manual Lymph Drainage
Hailin has specialised in lymphoedema treatment for more than 6 years. Hailin is certified in Dr Vodder therapy, which is internationally recognised for treatment of lymphoedema. She is a registered lymphoedema practitioner in Australasia. Lymphoedema or swelling or oedema in the tissues can result from injuries, accidents or surgery. Radiotherapy is damaging to the lymph nodes and vessels and may cause hardening of the tissues and skin. This reduces the ability of the lymph system to clear fluid and may result in swelling. Hailin’s treatment can assist in managing and improving symptoms such as restricted movemement, swelling, pressure, heaviness and tingling.

Chronic muscle stress often leads to pain, injury, muscle restriction and a build up of metabolic waste or toxins.
Remedial massage targets areas of muscle tension by:
loosening tight muscles
improving circulation
increasing in oxygen and energy
allowing the body to produce nutrients in your muscles
