In a Nutshell
Nothing beats a body that feels good.
Elements represents an integrated approach to training and incorporates aspects of many different disciplines including strength training, flexibility, joint mobility, postural training and lifestyle / nutrition.
Training with EoM involves more than simply doing exercises, it involves learning how to maintain and strengthen your body (inside and out), for the long run.
Personal Training
We keep things pretty simple. Our philosophy is to get back to basics about food, lifestyle and training and give you down to earth solutions that can be used for the rest of your life.
Most clients notice a positive difference after a few sessions though to truly perfect the training techniques takes a bit of time. Clients commonly notice some (or all) of the following soon after they begin:
- Increased energy
- Improved sleep
- Improved concentration
- Improved sporting performance
- Improved posture
- Improved muscle definition
- Improved digestion and abdominal / gut function
- Fat loss
The first stage of training is a combination of biomechanical correction and of course training specific to your reason for coming in. It's important to look at your biomechanics first to address any imbalances that may cause issues for you later in life.
To complement training, time is also spent on breathing, stretching and relaxation techniques because it’s important to understand how to bring your body back into balance after a workout.
The equipment you'll use includes free-weights, kettlebells, swiss-balls, foam rollers, medicine-balls and cable-weights depending on your specific goal.
What’s the process for a new client?- Have a Chat
The first thing is obviously to sit down with you and have a chat about what you're keen to achieve and why.
- Get Moving
In the first session we’ll begin with your injury history and a physical assessment that will include most of the following:
- Joint range of motion, stability and flexibility
- Breathing mechanics
- Spinal mechanics and curvatures
- Movement pattern analysis
- Core function
- Nutrition and lifestyle analysis
From that point forward, we do specific stretching and joint mobilisation to free you up, and targeted exercises and movements to iron out any kinks in your system.
Benjamin Weale
Ben’s education in health began from a very early age. He had a mother that didn't serve desert and specialised in steamed vegetables so he didn’t have much choice!
His passion for dance and movement as a teenager was the beginning of his curiosity in strength and fitness but the study of health and the human body was not his ‘official’ pursuit until he found himself studying at the University of Queensland. At the time, Ben was working towards a Business Management degree and had the intention to work at the Uni gym between lectures. He began studying a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and encountered an interesting problem in that the study of the body fascinated him more than the business degree did.
Since completing his Certificate III and IV in 2003, he has studied extensively. Through the CHEK Institute (based in California), he has completed courses in Corrective and High Performance Conditioning and in Nutrition and Lifestyle, enabling him to work more effectively with clients that have specific needs, injuries and health considerations.
Ben has worked with Fitness First in Brisbane, Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat on the Gold Coast and Levity Health in Bondi Junction, always surrounding himself with people he can learn and share knowledge with. He is constantly increasing his knowledge base and refining his techniques and enjoys being on the edge of the industry and sharing his latest pursuits with clients.
In training sessions, Ben combines his knowledge of fitness, strength training and biomechanics with a more intuitive style of movement coaching that has developed, in part, through his background in dance.

- C.H.E.K Exercise Coach, Holistic Lifestyle Coaching I, II, III.
