Virginia approaches counselling from an individual perspective, drawing on her diverse background and skills providing personally relevant and meaningful outcomes for each person.
In addition to traditional counselling skills such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Virginia has developed expertise in body image and pain management through ongoing training in dance/movement therapy and mindfulness strategies. She has had an ongoing practice of meditation and spiritual philosophy which contributes to her counselling style and methods.
She has also completed a Masters by Supervision in expressive arts therapy which has extended her skills in psychotherapy. Counselling experience and skills are complimented by knowledge of Australian Bush Flower Essences.
