About Us
Engineering Wellness was created by Alan Bain as a service to provide Kinesiology, Massage and Reiki to customers in Sydney. Engineering Wellness offers the following services:
Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the most comprehensive of the modern natural therapies. It is a potent, safe, powerful, hands-on, drug-free naturalapproach to holistic health care. It uses muscle testing to identify problem areas, and massage, touch, nutrition, and counseling to restore balance. It works on the philosophy that all stress, imbalances and blockages in the nervous system, can be detected by testing the tension in certain muscles.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Massage
Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointenstinal system. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm and feet. There are over eighty different recognized massage modalities.
