Enterprise Counselling Services

Having never engaged in any form of counselling I only had others’ reports to go by: “Feeling judged and analysed”, “Not having input or a say in my goals and life” and “I mould and fit myself to the therapist’s style” are just a few of the snippets given. In fairness there were some positive reports but none that prepared me for the life changing experience I’ve had in the 18 months I’ve been working with Simone (Enterprise Counselling).

I use the term ‘working with’ very purposefully as it has been nothing short of a team effort. I have encountered a life transformation I never dared to hope for whereby my circumstances have not dramatically changed, but my experience of myself in my world has altered irreversibly. With a connection best described as ‘deep, mutual, respectful and robust, my therapeutic experience has benchmarked (through modelling) my new way of living life. I have connected with an inner power I never new existed and now feel open, courageous and loving in my relationships and life. I have experienced opportunity for healing, growth, challenge and enrichment through a process where I felt heard, consulted and empowered.

For anyone even contemplating accessing this service the only thing I can recommend is: DON’T THINK, JUST DO IT! I can not speak highly enough are even capture with words what it will mean for your life and happiness.

My wife and I were speaking of separation after 16 years of marriage and three children together at which time one of our friends handed us a card with Simone’s counselling practice (Enterprise) on it. Having tried counselling a few times we both agreed this may be the last avenue we attempt. Up until now, no counsellor had us feel equally heard, understood or figured out the way Simone did. She seemed not only to understand this issues more clearly than we ourselves, but could translate, describe and apply solutions to them we hadn’t considered tenable.

Another key to our success was being attended to as individuals even though we were there for ‘relationship counselling’. We have both experiences personal (unique and private) growth beyond the health of our marriage. We consider our marriage rescued and strongly urge anyone (as an individual or a couple) that if you’re looking for a service that has something that little bit special to turn you your life around Enterprise is the place to call.

I came to Simone an experienced ‘counselee’ having experienced depression, anxiety and agoraphobia for 20 years (and seen as many counsellors) with honestly not too much hope. I am pleased to say my lack of hope couldn’t have been further from what became reality. I felt respected and listened to from the beginning and found it refreshing to be put in the ‘driver’s seat’. Rather than just talking, I took away tools from every session that I will now be able to use for the rest of my life. I am now at a place where I don’t need or rely on counselling to enjoy my life (as some therapists seem to promote), as over time with Simone I have made permanent changes to my thoughts, feelings and responses that will see me through a quality life forever. In a safe, caring and powerful environment I found a new self (who Simone claims always existed) who is powerful, grounded and enlightened (and am medication free!).
