SERVICES Equine Guided Education Australia
At Equine Guided Education Australia (EGEA) we offer unique, powerful, structured programs which, through integration of the instinctive feedback of horses, allow participants to experience accelerated learning that creates breakthrough behavioural change. The learning is immediate with impressive long term results.
Following Equine Guided Education, the internationally recognised and highly successful method pioneered by Ariana Strozzi in the USA, in 1999, ground-based activities at EGEA guide the participants to an awareness of core personal strengths and weaknesses.
In a non-confrontational way, carefully structured exercises with horses not only allow us to see and experience, in the moment, how we function with others but also help us to identify aspects of our behaviour that are not really useful to us. They enable us to appreciate the impact of new behaviors in order to break past patterns and quickly build new ones. Working with horses will provide you with a door to these achievements of passive yet profound change. You will learn, with instant results, how your body language and moods affect those around you.

How does it work?
Because horses respond to the level of energy of people interacting with them, participants can learn about the power of their own energy and its effect on others.
Horses are masters at sensing our body language and emotions. They have an uncanny ability to read energy and respond to it. They respond to our behaviours, attitudes and intention with direct, non-judgmental and authentic feedback.
Observation and reflection on this human-horse interaction offers powerful insights leading to rapid growth in personal development, individual and team performance, leadership and communication. Through observation of herd dynamics and one-on-one interaction with individual horses, participants also learn new relationship building skills. A tremendous confidence boost comes from learning how to connect with and direct a 500kg animal while standing on the ground.
Horses have no agenda with us, so they allow us the freedom to experience ourselves and experiment - without judgment. As prey animals, horses’ flight instincts become instant mirrors as they respond to our intentions, emotions and thoughts conveyed subconsciously through our body language.
Communication research has shown that more than 90% of communication is non-verbal and stems from the body language, energy and authenticity we put out. This is what the horse will respond to, so working with horses demands that you be very clear in your non-verbal communication. Horses do not understand words; they rely on reading body language and energy. QUALIFICATION DETAILS
