REIKI
Reiki is an ancient form of hands on healing. It was rediscovered or reborn in the 1800's by Dr Mikao Usui. Dr. Usui developed this healing system from ancient Buddhist teachings after many years of study, reasearch and meditation.
Reiki can be defined as Spiritually Guided Universal Life Force. Rei = Spiritual Wisdom & Ki = Life Force.
HOW REIKI WORKS
The Reiki Healer acts as a channel for this life energy which the recipient of the treatment draws via the healer, activating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Reiki is guided to wherever it is needed working on the mind, body and spirit, releasing blocked energies, cleansing the body of toxins and working to create a state of balance.
THE TREATMENT
The treatment of Reiki is very simple yet a very powerful process. The client remains fully clothed whilst the therapist works on various positions on the body. The client may experience sensations such as warmth or coldness, tingling, twitches and relaxation as the body receives the life force energy and blockages are removed. Treatments and frequency are individually tailored to the clients needs and condition.
