What is Classical Yoga?
Classical Yoga is based on the Yoga Sutras of Pantajali and aims to include all the limbs of yoga in its classes - not all in each class but over a period of time, classes offer a little of everything. A large proportion of each class consists of the popular postures (asanas) which aim to keep the body fit and the mind focussed. Meditation is seen as an important part of Classical Yoga and is included at the end of each class.

About Evelyn
Evelyn completed her teacher training in 2010 with the Australian College of Classical Yoga under the tutelage of Swami Shantananda and Ma Sally. Practising yoga since 2002, Evelyn felt the desire to deepen her knowledge about yoga and undertook the teacher training. She now enjoys sharing yoga with others in her classes and in everyday life.
With a working background in the Corporate world, Evelyn understands the need for a life practice that will enhance daily living and assist in slowing down, focussing the mind and living in the moment - all of which improve performance at work as well as bringing about a fuller life experience.
