ABOUT ERIC FAIRBANK

Eric has been a fully qualified clinical Naturopath since 1989 and has
conducted over 35,000 professional consultations to individuals and families from all over Australia and overseas. His studies began in Adelaide in 1986 at the South Australian College of Natural Therapies and Botanic Medicine and since then has been involved in continuous professional consulting as well as lecturing, book publication, manufacture of Herbal and Homeopathic medicine and natural beauty creams. He worked as the principal consulting Naturopath at Go Vita Southport health store on the Gold Coast for five years and currently works in a busy open all hours home clinic and part time with a pharmacist at Pomona. He has successfully introduced Naturopathic medicine into this well known Sunshine Coast pharmacy. His qualifications can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

We practice 4 main modalities in our clinic : Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Nutrition and Remedial Therapies. After analysis of your problems we will select the most appropriate treatment from these and give a simple but specific regime to follow. Most people get positive results after only 3 to 4 weeks. We only dispense specific medicines if they are required and do not have you return for unnecessary appointments.

A few years ago I saw Eric Fairbank for a thyroid problem and during that visit he noticed a large 1.5cm skin lesion on my arm which had been growing rapidly. I told Eric that I had been having skin cancers cut off for years as I had worked in the sun as a drover. I wasn't a fan of needles or the scalpel so Eric treated me for this skin lesion and to my amazement within 4 or 5 days the whole thing came out like a lump of cheese about the size of a bottle top. It was blood free and completely clean. It has since completely healed except for a small scar. I wish I was aware of this treatment twenty years ago.

Types of analysis and treatment used in the clinic are…

Hair analysis –	Hair analysis can be performed for local, interstate and overseas patients. This modality can accurately determine mineral, trace and vitamin deficiencies as well as the identification of dietary intolerances and environmental allergens. We can also get a good idea of how well your body systems are functioning. If you have been everywhere else and found no relief, can we suggest that you book in for a Hair Analysis now. Part tests can also be conducted, ie: for mineral or vitamin deficiencies only.
Medical Symptomatology –	Your medical, family history and current symptoms are considered. Blood pressure, blood sugar and acid/alkaline balance are routine tests carried out in the clinic for you.
Iridology –	This modality allows us to determine the strengths and weaknesses of your body and to identify body systems that are congested, inflamed or overworked. Iris analysis is an accurate diagnostic tool - most people are stunned by the accuracy of analysis during their visit. There is a nerve connection between your brain, the optic nerve and your iris tissue. As the brain identifies problem areas in your body it registers specific signs and changes on your iris tissue through nerve reflexes. The iris has been accurately mapped over the last 140 years since Iridology was discovered and the iris has been charted into various zones that relate to different parts of the body.
Herbal Medicine –	Herbal medicines build the body systems when they are weakened by illness and are also used to treat acute and chronic immune disorders.
Nutrition –	Everyone has at least two or three specific mineral or vitamin deficiencies. Identifying them is our speciality – replacing much needed nutrition will make a huge difference to your health. Dietary changes may be suggested to promote better heath for you and we specialize in the identification of dietary and other allergens.
Homeopathy –	I can not tell you, or emphasize enough the importance of this wonderful healing modality. In twenty years of dispensing Homeopathic medicines I am still in awe of their often miraculous healing ability. If you have had long standing illness sooner or later you will need Homeopathic medicines to restore or maintain your health. Homeopathic medicines work by providing the body with a plan of what is wrong so the body can then use its own healing ability to restore health.
Ear Candling –	This procedure painlessly draws wax and fluid from the ear canal and is of great help in sinus infections and nasal congestion, hay fever, and helping to restore more acute hearing.
Remedial Therapies / Spinal problems –	The Muscular / Skeletal Re-alignment technique practiced in the clinic is a system of nerve / muscle trigger points that help to restore normal spinal curvatures, by relaxing tight sore muscles and by getting lazy muscle groups to work again. There are no harsh adjustments, rolling or cracking and the technique usually gives relief from pain even after the first visit. Most people find they are standing straighter when they get off the table. Although we do not do full body massages we do use deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to relieve muscle knotting and pain.
