About Us
Hi there, my name is Corinne Nicholson. I'm a full time practicing, nationally accredited & recognised feng shui practitioner who also has international experiences and studies that will be brought to your consultation.
As a feng shui practitioner I've had the honour and privilege to spend the last 10 years studying, exploring, experiencing and enjoying living with the freedom feng shui has brought me.
After embracing Numerology in the early 90's and providing charts and enlightening people on how our date of birth can impact how our lives, I was fortunate to have my older sister give me my first book on feng shui when I was looking to purchase my first home and haven't looked back!!
In our lives we prefer to picture ourselves cruising through life, filled with inner security, peace and a feeling of being one with our world. We'd like the choices we make to be wise ones, the luck we receive is constant, and the fortunes we accrue long lasting. Ambitions such as these are by no means the preserve of the modern age. It was this pursuit of harmony & sensory well-being that, centuries ago, led to the founding of feng shui.
It includes intuition, chinese astrology, numerology, understanding the 5 elements design and much more. With feng shui, one is often looking for clues and putting together pieces of evidence to get a full picture.
Pronounced as Fung Shway, translates as "wind (feng) and water (shui)". It is the art of balancing & harmonising the flow of natural energies in our surroundings to create beneficial effects. For thousands of years we have utilised mystical beliefs to channel and harmonise environmental forces, such as wind & water, to improve our landscape & lives.

The heart of all consultations is to determine the facing direction of the building as well as the occupants favourable success, sleeping & study directions using a Lou Pan Compass.
Once we identify these feng shui influences we are able to maximise your future energy flows to achieve prosperity, health and happiness.
Initially, this is based around the mapping of the intangible living chi flow with the surroundings, the building internal and external floor plans, the front door locations, and well the occupants interactive in this environment.
When this is completed
We will sit together and discuss the recommendations that can be used to enhance the positive influences and to dissolve any harmful ones.
These suggestions may include
- where to play the water feature
- the appropriate colour schemes
- room usage with placement of furniture & personal items
Renovation advice may include landscaping, additions such as decks or new entrances and creating open plan areas by removing walls. The suggestions depend on your individual needs and the consultation.

Chinese astrology has four signs, one for the year, the month, the day and the hour of birth. In texts these are often referred to as “the four pillars.” This may sound different, but even here there is a similarity with Western astrology.
Chinese astrology is complicated. When you put together the 12 animal signs with the five elements, you get 60 total signs. Then you have to consider that each person has four of these. Each of us truly is an individual, as no two people on the planet born in the same year have the same Chinese star chart. A strong chart will be balanced in terms of both signs and elements. Ideally a person will have, for example, a mix of strong and gentle signs as well as of elements. And, if a person has a variety of signs as opposed to, say, two Monkey and two Pig signs, so much the better. That means the person has a wider range of capabilities.
Originally, the primary purpose of Chinese astrology was fortune telling. The focus is usually on what will happen to people in various stages of their lives/a specific duration of time or on what people should do on a particular day or in a certain month or year.
Numerology is related to individuals dates of birth with certain numbers according to their name, their birth date, then when these appear, they become either as strengths or as losses or as helps or as change but they are rather as the signs, or the omens; and may be given as warnings in any manner that they may be constructive in the experience of the individual.
Western Astrology charts can help a person find out some info about themselves and others to by using the alignment of the stars and planets and get some outstanding results that could be used in many ways to help you. An astrology chart is used to help see where a planet or a star will be at a certain time.
