Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture

Elisabeth Staunton is a registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine having majored in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She completed her clinical internship in Shanghai China.

"Hi, I’m Elisabeth Staunton.

I am a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner, having graduated with honors in both Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. I completed my internship at Shuguang hospital in Shanghai, China – working in the Internal Medicine and Gynecology departments.

Prior to studying Chinese Medicine I became a qualified Reiki practitioner and worked as a therapist utilizing Shiatsu and Swedish massage, which I incorporate into my current practice. Over the past three years I have volunteered my time as an Acupuncturist in various not for profit organizations as well as Drug Withdrawal centers at Windana and Western Hospital.

As a practitioner of Chinese Medicine I have experience in treating a wide range of conditions. These include women’s health concerns, infertility, fatigue, insomnia, digestive issues, chronic pain, muscular-skeletal disorders and weight loss. I have a special interest in addressing the underlying emotional aspects associated with illness. I believe Chinese medicine to be invaluable in promoting balance and health.

I look forward to meeting you and discussing your health care concerns."
