Swedish Massage $70 (Relaxation):

Feels great, is relaxing and invigorating. It'smain purpose is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Some other benefits include, shortening recovery time from muscular strain, increased circulation without increased heart load, stretching of ligaments and tendons, skin stimulation and soothing of the nervous system. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested as part of a regular program for stress management.
Remedial Massage $80

When muscles and tendons become damaged or impaired, knotted and tense or immobile, Remedial Massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. Remedial massage holistically treats the whole body and traces the discomfort as far as possible back to the original cause, healing both the cause of the disorder as well as the symptoms.
Pregnancy Massage $70
A combination of Swedish and Remedial Massage techniques, to assist with the tensions and pains experienced during pregnancy. These are often caused by the extra weight and shift in the centre of gravity. There are many physical benefits to Pregnancy Massage, in addition to the nurturing and emotional support provided by the practitioner. Massage reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, helps to prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain.
Infant Massage $50
Is useful for the following-
• Improve the baby's immune system
• Help the infant learn to relax
• Promote sounder and longer sleep
• Promote bonding (verbal and non-verbal communication is developed)

Type of massage that is specifically tailored to sporting injuries or ailments. It is not meant to be a relaxing massage and can be quite vigorous at times. Contrary to its name, sports massage is NOT only utilised by professional sportspeople or people that exercise heavily. It is of benefit to anyone that exercises, even if it is only mild exercise such as regular walking.
Sports massage can treat a variety of ailments and injuries that may occur as a result of exercise. It also has other benefits that allow you to train or exercise more efficiently. The benefits of sports massage include:
• Draining away fatigue
• Relieving swelling
• Reducing muscle tension
• Promoting flexibility
• Injuries that occur as a result of overexertion or overuse
• Relieving pain
• Preventing injuries

Deep Tissue Release $80
Focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. Using deep muscle compression and friction along the grain of the muscle, the purpose of Deep Tissue Massage is to loosen the fibres of the muscles and release both toxins and deeply held tension points. It also get's blood and oxygen circulating properly. It is both corrective and therapeutic and is beneficial for many physical problems, including sports injuries and chronic pain.
Trigger Point Therapy $80
Trigger points are areas of hyperirritability in the soft tissue structure. These can be acute sources of pain or latent, unnoticed by the client until pressure is applied by the practitioner. Trigger points are manifested as small contraction knots in the muscles that control the state of contraction. Active ones may cause muscle spasm and referred pain. Treatment consists of physical therapy, manipulation and stretching. A firm digital pressure is applied by the practitioner, who is able to locate the specific points causing pain and restricted movement and these may often be located in places different to where the client actually feels the pain. Conditions that will benefit from this modality include:

Cupping Therapy $70
The deep tissue, remedial therapy of cupping is used by creating negative pressure within suction cups that are placed on the body, drawing up the underlying tissue. Conditions that respond well to cupping include: muscle tension and spasms, fibromyalgia, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, asthma and respiratory problems.
Kahuna Hot Stone Massage $120 approx 1 1/2 hrs
