Welcome to Fifth Avenue ChiropracticIvo Ahlquist is the principal Chiropractor at Fifth Avenue Chiropractic. He was born and grew up in Hamburg, Germany and graduated from the German Sport University in Cologne with a Master in Sport Science and Exercise Physiology (majoring in rehabilitation and prevention).
After working for one year in this field, Ivo moved to Australia where he undertook his studies in Chiropractic at Macquarie University.
Ivo has been involved in the Health Industry and improving people’s lives for over a decade. First as a Basketball and Athletics coach, followed by working as a paramedic and First Aid instructor. During and after his first degree he also worked as a personal trainer, as a sports therapist in an Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Centre and as a consultant for international running shoe companies. For the last years Ivo worked as a Chiropractor in Victoria and New South Wales.
He also teaches one day a week at University as well as volunteers his skills with ‘Hands on Health Australia’ on a monthly basis and has been involved in ‘Hands on Health Philippines’. “I am excited and looking forward to the opportunity to bringing my experiences in the Health Industry to the beautiful Blue Mountains.”
