SERVICES

Welcome to
Counselling and Psychotherapy with Fiona Halse

Psychotherapy is therapy for the mind. Through the mind we experience ourselves and interpret our world. This mental process impacts our emotions, body and spirit.

We can’t always change our world but we can change how we relate with it, how we think and feel.

In a private setting Fiona provides careful attention and support in exploring your situation. What’s happening and what’s missing for you, what would feel better? Together we can notice how you habitually respond to things in your life. This is an opportunity to gain new insight and options by understanding yourself beneath your story; your personal way of being in the world. Through bringing kind awareness to what is already happening and exploring new ways of responding to life we can become free from unhelpful or limiting patterns and find new and happier ways of being.

This work can help you with:

  • relationship and family issues
  • depression, anxiety, grief and stress
  • anger, assertiveness and boundary issues
  • trauma and phobias
  • addictions, eating disorders, loss of wellbeing
  • loneliness and alienation
  • meditation and integration of spirituality
