CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE
Chinese Herbal Medicine involves a practitioner prescribing an individualised combination of herbs for your unique presentation of symptoms. We use concentrated herbs that are simple to take and you don’t need to boil them on the stove. Herbs are usually taken once or twice a day depending on your situation. We use herbs in the treatment of most health conditions.
ACUPUNCTURE
The ancient art of acupuncture is the most famous treatment modality of Chinese Medicine practitioners. It involves the insertion and gentle stimulation of superfine needles at specific points around the body (mostly on the arms and legs) to invigorate the flow of Qi (energy) and Blood to bring the body back into balance. It is effective in the treatment of many conditions particularly: muscular pain; traumatic injury; headaches; psychological and emotional disorders; and insomnia.
YOUR CONSULTATION
Each consultation includes a discussion with a qualified practitioner, who will ascertain your unique ‘Pattern of Disharmony’ and design an individualised treatment strategy based on your individual needs. Initial consultations take about one hour and the cost varies from $70 - $110 (less for children) according to the treatment strategy that you and your practitioner choose.
