Oncology massage is a highly skilled set of techniques that are designed to work with every complication of cancer and cancer treatment. People who are ill are constantly subjected to many forms of treatment which take a toll on the body, mind and spirit. Oncology Massage works to reduce the emotional & physical discomfort during treatment, helping those with cancer, those receiving Palliative Care and for those with chronic illness.

Gabrielle Walker is a nurse with 20 years experience in Palliative Care and a Clinical Oncology & Remedial Masseur. She is qualified to assist you with your cancer journey. Gabrielle is familiar with modern cancer treatment methods, and their impacts. She is well qualified to work with you and your doctor to develop a massage plan to help the management of your disease. Gabrielle is trained in Post Mastectomy & Radiation Scar Mobilisation. A technique, that deals with tissue restrictions, caused by cancer treatments.
A referral from your Oncologist or General Practitioner is recommended. There are Intake Forms available from my rooms. Please bring these forms completed with you, or complete one at your first visit.
REMEDIAL MASSAGE & CUPPING
Gabrielle is an experienced Remedial Masseur combining many techniques in a deeper massage to treat muscular tightness, soreness and injury, such as repetitive strain and back pain and overuse injuries, strains & sprains mobilising restrictions left sfter injury, this treatment then speeds up recovery and encourages more complete healing. CUPPING Therapy may be incorporated into your treatment as it has a stimulating affect on the skin, improving blood flow, relaxing stiff muscles, removing pain and having a positive overall therapeutic affect on the body.
Consultations 30 minute - $35. 60 minutes - $ 60.
