Dr Rob Clark graduated as a chiropractor after completing a 5 year double degree at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2003. Dr Clark began practice in Ballarat Victoria before working 2 years in South-East Asia then returning to Australia to take up practice in Queensland. Glebe Road Chiropractic was established by Dr Clark in September 2008.
Dr Clark is a member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (GCS) of Australia and is currently involved in continuing his development in this technique style. The strengths of this practice is specific spinal adjustments all done by hand. Most corrective work to the spine is refined to 1-2 major spinal misalignments that may be causing an interference with the muscular and nervous system. Emphasis is placed on having chiropractic x-rays to confirm spinal subluxation and the deformity to the spinal disc so that corrective high velocity realignment / the chiropractic adjustment is made uniquely to your own spine. Treatment is tailored to you as an individual and unique to your spine. Chiropractic students and health practitioners are welcome at Glebe Road Chiropractic to observe Dr Clark in practice.
As a Gonstead chiropractor Dr Rob Clark hopes to make the Gonstead brand of chiropractic available to the community of Ipswich. At this point in time – 2012 – there are very few Gonstead chiropractors is southeast Queensland. With the first Queensland chiropractic school opening only this year (CQU - Mackay) we hope that more quality practitioners will become available to Queenslanders in the future.
