Doula in training
Nancy has been practicing Hatha Yoga since the early 1990's. Her practise has evolved through her early explorations in her 20's, deeper study and teaching in her 30's and is strongly rooted now in her 40's. Her studies now focus on pregnancy and yoga.
Her style is a fusion of experiences from her own practice and teachings from Radiant Light Yoga and other yoga teachers such as Donna Farhi. The style has a ‘flowing with the breath’ focus, creating a moving meditation and adapts the poses to the individual's needs with special adaptions for back support.
Nancy ran a successful yoga school at the beautiful beachside town of Bargara for 2 years prior to moving to the Gold Coast in 2006. She now runs her classes from the new Burleigh PUMMA studio.
The studio is now offering specialised pregnancy yoga and mums and bubs classes to better support women.
The studio also offers fitness and martial arts classes. For details see www.pumma.net
