Touch is the foundation of a great massage. When a therapist lays their hands on your person you have to feel comfortable enough to relax. There is a sense of trust the massage therapist will look after you respectfully. You will feel better either immediately or within a 48 hour timeframe of the massage.
About Us
Leanne is a Remedial Massage Therapist registered with the Australian Massage Association of Australia. Leanne has received training over the past 20 years in many modallities including: myiofacial release, trigger point, deep tissue, sports, shiatsu.
To the average person this is a bunch of goobly gook, you have an idea in mind of what you want from a massage. it could be relax and unwind. Perhaps you do a lot of sport and require pre or post event massage. Or for most of us, there is a little niggle just in my neck, shoulder, leg, lower back can I help you. Yes.
Leanne is an intuitive massage therapist with a sense of knowing, looking, seeing, hearing what is happening in your body. This is backed by a quest for knowledge on all levels.
To be a good therapist and you have to be kind, a little bossy, have integrity and recognize that physical pain can be a result of trauma, posture, emotional outlooks and mental attitudes. These shape the person you are treating and one should not overstep the individuals person boundaries.
Leanne has worked in a number of fields of massage, from relaxtion, spa work, to remedial ie chronic pain. I may notice an incongruence within your body this does not mean it causes you any discomfort It is recognizing that you have to work within a framework that suits each individual client.
I have also done some stretch therapist training, so can assist with a stretchs to suit your individual needs.
