This Relaxing style of massage uses firm long flowing strokes over the whole body with the hands as the healing tools to re align energy blockages in the muscles and creates a clear meditative space leaving you in a place of healing and harmony. Kahuna Body work
Temple style Hawaiian massage used during rites of passage as a transformational massage and healing system.
Ka Huna is unique in a number of respects. The practitioner uses their hands, forearms and elbows and moves around the table in flowing hula and tai chi moves. They work with energy to apply soft and deep tissue massage. Music is played and they attune the flow of the massage to harmonise the various rhythms within the client's body, mind and soul.
What is KaHuna body work?
I will consult you about your current state of your physical, mental and emotional health. This assists both client and therapist in deciding on the treatment focus for the session.
During the massage , it helps to focus your attention on your breath. Each inhalation offers a chance to draw fresh energy and inspiration into the mind- body. each exhalation a opportunity to dissolve tension and to let go of anything that limits you and to deepen your experience of relaxation .
A sarong is used to for draping and to keep the sacredness of the massage.
It is important to drink lots of water after a treatment to assist the detoxifying process
Ka huna bodywork is a powerful form of healing that effects people differently and you may experience a range of emotions as various energies are still shifting . There is no need to worry , simply observe your emotions with out getting caught up in them and let them flow. The healing and cleansing effects and re-balancing of the body -mind can be felt for a while after the treatment.
