Pain Management (acute & chronic)
Acupuncture is fast and effective in relieving acute pain such as back pain, stiff neck, waking up with pain in the neck & shoulders, sports injuries or acute attack of Rheumatoid arthritis. It is good to manage pain naturally rather than using on-going pain killers.
A combination of acupuncture, moxibustion and Chinese Herbal Medicine could help chronic pain such as arthritis, low back pain, neck pain as in frozen shoulder, Rotator cuff injuries, spondylosis, elbow & wrist pain, RSI, sciatica, knee & foot pain.
Headache / Migraine
Rheumatoid arthritis / arthritis
When weather changes, damp, cold and windy days, these sufferers have to put up with enormous pain, whether they are on regular drugs or not; or emotional / sleep disturbance because of the chronic condition; acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine are very effective for these conditions.

Stress affects our health, everyone in this day and age is suffering from some degree of stress, we have to learn to handle our stress and to ease our stress regularly so that the body is not run down by it. Emotional imbalance & sleep disorder often happen as a co product of stress.
Asthma, Sinuses & allergy
These conditions could get very chronic and deplete our body; acupuncture is very effective in easing the condition by balancing the body and supplementing the deficiency of the related organs.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture originated from China many thousand years ago. Acupuncture, in Chinese is 針灸, which means needling and moxibustion. Practitioner inserts fine Filiform needles to Acupoints on the related meridians for the conditions. The insertion of needle stimulates the flow of Qi. When the Qi flows smoothly, the body will be healthy, but if for some reason, the Qi becomes stagnant, blocked & obstructed, the body will deteriorate: vital energy is loss and health is jeopadized.
What is moxibustion?
Moxibustion is a heat treatment using a Mugwort herb, Ai Ye 艾叶 on a areas according to the acupuncture points & channels on the body, to stimulate the flow if Qi & blood. From a Tradition Chinese Medicine Point of view, “If there is an obstruction, there is pain; if the flow of Qi is smooth, there is no pain”. There are many forms of moxa, e.g. in rolls, use in a moxa box, stick on moxas or moxa cones. You can even find some spray moxas nowadays. You can see a couple of applications on my website: www.healthchi.net
Moxibustion is extremely good for arthritis. It helps to reduce inflammation and ease pain, prevent deformity and improve flexibility & mobility.
