About Us
Health Academy Australia has been started by a Medical Practitioner with the aim of providing Health Courses Online for busy people who cannot afford to attend an Institute to upgrade their skills or learn for a new career. Our aim is make the course most affordable but at the same time not compromise on the quality of our courses.
All of our course content has been written by qualified people experts in their fields. Some of our Course content has been sourced by affiliation with ACS Distance Education, Australia's bigges Distance learning school which has been running courses from the past 30 years. 1000's of students have undergone our courses successfully and many are successfully employed.

Vahini Panda - B.Sc.(Biology & Nutrition)
She has worked as clinical dietician in a cardiac unit. Vahini has 4 years experience in teaching Human Biology, Medical Terminology and Nutrition at a vocational institute. She tutors Medical Terminology, Human Biology and Human Nutrition.
Dr Ramana Panda MBBS, FRCS, Dip Medical Informatics.
Dr Panda is a practicing Medical GP Specialising in Skin cancer Lesions. He has 15 years experience in the fields of medicine, health and Medical informatics. He designs, writes and structures medical related courses for Health Academy.
Dr Chaya Kumar - MBBS, MD
Dr Kumar has worked in general practice and pediatrics for the past 30 years. She tutors Medical Terminology and writes courses for Health Academy.
Tracey Jones - B.Sc. (Hons) (Psychology), M.Soc.Sc (social work), DipSW (social work), PGCE (Education), PGD (Learning Disability Studies)
Tracey has around 15 years experience within the psychology and social work field, particularly working with people with learning disabilities. She is also qualified as a teacher and now teaches psychology and social work related subjects.
She is a book reviewer for the British Journal of Social Work. Tracey has also written a text book on Psychology and has had several short stories published.
Alison Tuck - Clinical Psychologist
Alison is a qualified practising Psychologist. She tutors all the Psychology modules at Health Academy. She is specialised in working with children, adolescents and families. Working with teachers. Counselling for stress, depression and anxiety. Pain and illness management (E.g. Workcover, EAP). She also does Supervision of conditionally registered psychologists.

Lyn Quirk M.Prof.Ed.; Adv.Dip.Compl.Med (Naturopathy); Adv.Dip.Sports Therapy
Lyn has 25 years of experience in the Fitness, Health and Leisure Industries. She has a string of qualifications that are far too long to list here; being qualified and registered to teach, coach or instruct a wide range of different sports and other skills.
Lyn established and managed Health clubs at three major five star resorts on Queensland's Gold Coast, including the Marriot. She was a department head for a large government vocational college (TAFE), and has conducted her own aquafitness business for many years.
Alison Sweet BBioMedSc (Hon)
Alison has 5 years experience as a medical research scientist with her work included in two publications in the American Journal of Medical Genetics. A member of the ESA, ASMR and Nutrition Australia she has given presentations at a number of professional conferences around Australia. A trained phlebotomist, Alison is currently completing her PhD thesis in Molecular Biology
Dr Valeria Astorga PhD (Life Sc), B.Biol, Dip. Nutrition
Since graduating from Barcelona University in 1988, Valeria has worked across diverse areas of biological science, from environmental management to landscaping and human nutrition; mostly in Spain, Chile and Australia. She is a distinguished and well published academic, with a unique practical experience
