What is special about my services?

I offer something very different to most Massage or Reiki practitioners.

I have practiced Qigong for more than 20 years and utilise my skills and knowledge to integrate Qigong healing in all Massage and Reiki treatments. Medical Qigong helps to balance the Yin and Yang energy also known as Qi (chi or bio-electric energy). It harmonises, energises and kicks starts your own natural healing processes.

I am committed to serving others with integrity and compassion. I put my heart and soul into every treatment for the lasting benefit of each and every client. My intention is to help you heal yourself. I utilise universal energy through Qigong practices to restore and re-balance your energies during Massage or Reiki treatments.

Whenever you have an injury or are sick, your body's electrical circulation is affected. If this circulation of energy stops our bodies cease to function or live. But bioelectric energy not only maintains life (cell function) it also repairs physical damage. Which is why it is important to treat the energy system - not just the physical symptoms e.g. tight muscles.

Often the natural bio-electric activity of cells (Qi energy) resumes normal balance and function after massage and energy balancing treatments such as Qigong and Reiki. This is why I choose to integrate these practices into every treatment I provide. The healing benefits are extremely powerful.

As you can see from the list above and costs - you can choose from a range of treatments. You may choose a massage which also includes some Qigong energy balancing for priority areas. Alternatively you may choose a specific healing session that doesn't involve any massage and focuses on your chosen areas or the whole energy system.

Harmony for body, mind and soul.

Massage is a very simple Qigong practice which can increase the Qi and blood circulation in the body. Because massage can regulate and adjust the Qi circulating in the body, it is used not only to maintain health and prevent illness, but also to heal injuries and cure many illnesses. It assists with removal of toxins and stimulates your circulation and the oxygenation of cells. It works for everything from headaches to tight muscles. It does not replace medical treatment yet it can complement and enhance it.

Whether you choose a gentle relaxation massage or a deep tissue or sports massage - you are sure to be happy with the superior results and benefits that come from my integration of energy balancing practices into your personal treatment. Qigong and Reiki healing are integrated (silently) and subtly into treatments, to maximise the benefits. Everyone comments on how transformed they feel by the treatment/s.

What to wear?

Massage can be conducted fully clothed (in loose fitting clothes) or in underwear with towel draping to ensure warmth and privacy. Reiki and Qigong and Seated Massage are all performed fully clothed, unless you have chosen a combination treatment with massage using oils. The choice is always yours. Your comfort is the first priority.

Absent Healing / Remote healing/ Distant healing

Both Reiki and Qigong healing can be done from a distance to facilitate the healing of others. A mutually convenient time is found for the session to occur. However the recipient does not need to stop what they are doing to receive the benefits. People have the option of having this performed with telephone communication occuring simultaneously (discussing any feelings or sensations or images that arise) or without contact. TAO - I CHING CARD READINGS

(in person or remotely by phone /email)

The Book Of Changes I-Ching - is an ancient philosophical text going back more than 4000 years. It expresses the fundamental principles of life and universal energy by means of special energy language. It is considered an oracle to not only predict the future, but also the source of all Chinese wisdom. The development of 8 trigrams and sixty four hexagrams make up the I-Ching.

Traditionally, the I Ching is consulted by throwing yarrow stalks or coins, then building the hexagrams line by line. However, I use eight tokens in conjunction with the client - who selects them whilst pondering a question or a situation they have in mind. From these we are able to identify the number of the Hexagram and consider the meaning conveyed in the ancient texts. We discuss the direct answer and how it relates to your situation or question. We consider the wisdom being offered for guidance on your path and the appropriate action.

I-Ching Readings need to be booked in advance. There are 3 different levels of reading provided:
Short and Sweet - 10 mins $20.00
Moderate depth of discussion - 30 mins $40.00
In depth - texts consulted and/or email communication of results $60.00

Sessions conducted in person in my clinic require payment at the time of the consultation. Sessions conducted by phone or email must be paid in advance with funds cleared before reading occurs.
