The JOURNEY: Just when we think everything is going smoothly something suddenly happens and we find ourselves in a crumbling, helpless heap, or feeling like we are falling into a black hole. For others life just happens, day after day, year after year and there is no sense of emotional or spiritual growth, or of knowing and understanding who we are or why we are here. For most of us life is full of surprises. The HEALING PATH: Heather’s work involves helping you to re-connect with your own inner-healer and wisdom so that you can find your way creatively through life with new-found confidence and insight. Through your commitment to healing and a conscious decision to reshape and heal false ego-based perceptions and values, you can learn to live in the moment, and to be conscious and more trusting in the ‘process’ of life.
Over time, you will find you have developed a stronger sense of who you are and be ready to make a commitment to live your life journey with purpose and meaning. This is a gradual process and involves understanding and transforming energy imprints from personal and ancestral patterns, and healing the effect of losses and issues from the past and present. This has the affect of releasing old and limiting beliefs to make way for a more fulfilling and abundant future.

Overview:
Currently Heather works in her private counselling and healing practice using a variety of interesting mediums to encourage her clients to explore and work through unresolved issues and energetic patterns that have limited their positive experiences of life so far.
Heather is primarily focused on helping her clients, when they are willing and ready, to re-connect with and operate from their Authentic Self. Guided by shamanic principles and universal observation, she endeavors to help people discover their personal and life purpose to find new and creative ways to live life with deeper meaning and connection with their Inner Self and the earth. Training
Heather developed her own school of Shamanic Energy Healing and Counselling Training known as IVET—Integrative Vibrational Energy Therapy. 2010 is the seventh year this exciting training has been offered .
This year retreats for this training will be run in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. The first retreat, Level One, will be run at the delightful and magical natural setting of Rainbows Reach Retreat Centre at Wyee, just north of Sydney, from Saturday June 26 until Friday July 2. Guided imagery & Creative Visioning
Guided imagery is very much a part of Heather’s work. She takes her clients on shamanic journeys to other worlds to discover previously unconscious insights into their healing. While travelling through these worlds, guided and supported gently by Heather and the tools of her trade such as the medicine drum and crystals, clients are able to dialogue with their Inner Healer and High Self to explore their own healing.
Creative Visioning is a major method used in almost all avenues of Heather’s work. On her Shaman’s walks, which are taken in nature, participants are encouraged to imagine the messages that may be given to them by the earth, sky and sea. Every walk has uncovered deep and profound wisdom from these places that has often enabling participants to find a solution to a problem or an answer to a question, or simply to revel in the magic and mystery of the hidden worlds.

About Heather
Heather was born and lived on the land for thirty five years. She moved to the city in 1995 where she trained to become a counsellor and social scientist at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. At the same time, she felt and responded to an inner call to practice shamanic healing. At first guided and initiated by teachers from her Inner world, Heather later attended workshops in Australia and abroad with a number of shamanic teachers, including Serge Kahili King, of Huna Shamanism in Hawaii, and indigenous teachers from North America, Australia, Africa, and New Zealand.
Heather wears many hats, shapeshifting in and out of a variety of roles when necessary. As well as a counsellor and healing practitioner, she works in the business and corporate world as a consultant. In her role in the community, she is is often invited to be ceremonial holder for festivals and large gatherings. She supports a number of communities and societies, including Ubuntu (Interactive Medicine), The Difference ( a collaborative project), The Jung Society, The Joining, Being Woman, and, more recently, Confest.
In her healing work, Heather integrates a variety of modalities to assist her clients on their journey of self-discovery, healing and purpose. She offers training in shamanic energy healing for professionals and lay people who are interested in the Shamanic Path and in learning how to heal themselves and others, using vibrational energy therapy. Heather also works intuitively to assist horses and dogs to heal and thrive.
Heather has worked creatively and professionally in a number of roles, including: art teacher in private practice; artist in residence & youthworker with Behaviour Support Services in Education Queensland. and facilitator of a womens' group for personal and spiritual development. She has won state education awards for her work with children and young people facing academic and social challenges.
In her own time, she is a loyal friend and family member, mentor, a lover of life and brothers and sisters, a keen and budding flute (Native American) player, mother of three grown sons, a creative writer, and an artist.
Community
Typically of those who practice and teach the shamanic way, Heather works and participates extensively within the community she is living, and communities further afield to whom she travels. Her primary interest in her journey with community is in sharing shamanic teachings from the earth. She runs regular 'Shaman's Walks' along local beaches and local mountains for her local community .
Projects
Heather creates literary material for personal and spiritual development with her project partner, professional artist and photographer Gail Grey. Their two latest projects are: The Magical Healing Breath; Journey Cards for Inner Growth; and Mother Dreaming ~ Father Shining, a shamanic guide for Soul Parenting. These works will be published in the near future. She has a CD available online (www.heatherprice.net)for assisting people to create their dreams. This is called : A Shamanic Journey with the Eagle.
