‘The Heatherton Road Chiropractic Centre, established over 12 years ago, provides service to Noble Park, Springvale, Dandenong and the surrounding districts. The clinic is committed to providing its patients with excellent service in the management their back and neck problems. This is achieved through six means:
1. Gentle and effective treatment. We make sure patients remain comfortable during treatment. Any pain associated with treatment is avoided where possible. This clinic does use the ‘joint-popping’ technique that chiropractors are known for but only if the problem requires it. However, it is not used if the patient prefers not to have it. In these instances other techniques are used as a replacement. Also, treatments are tailored to achieve maximum results so patients can expect to be given exercises to do at home.
2. Massage is done as part of the treatment. When treating back and neck problems it is important to treat not only the spine but also the muscles that surround the spine. Therefore, various muscle massage techniques are used (often done in combination with heat therapy) are used at most consults.
3. Longer one-on-one consultation times. Whilst the quality of treatment (getting results) is obviously the more important factor, spending time with patients can contribute positively to the healing process. We believe this to be true because patients have told us.
4. Up-to-date approach. The treatments used at this clinic are based on up-to-date research and knowledge.
5. Reasonably-priced fees. The clinic strives to provide the best of care that also remains affordable.
