When the flow of life force energy is disrupted, weakened or blocked, emotional and or physical health problems can occur. These imbalances can be caused from many situations in our lives such as emotional or physical trauma, injury, negative thoughts or feelings and daily stress etc.
Reiki is excellent for healing any physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues of any kind and it gives wonderful results. Regular treatments will restore the general condition of the body and will allow the body to deal properly and naturally with stress and cope with anxiety and depression. It will manifest itself as confidence and outward harmony in dealing with everyday events.
A treatment is given with the use of ancient healing symbols and a simple laying of hands the practitioner channels the healing energy bringing the energy centre’s into alignment. Reiki is a powerful yet gentle energy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance and is very relaxing. Some clients have commented they felt like they were floating and most fall asleep during the treatment.
Reiki is a wonderful way to reduce stress for children, it is wonderful for children with ADHD and ADD to help them relax and feel calm.

MY JOURNEY
I believe we have everything we need to heal ourselves and others and I am extremely passionate about all forms of alternative healing. Particularly Reiki, Aromatherapy, Angel Therapy, Crystals and Rekindled Ancient Wisdom (RAW) which I am currently studying.
After suffering for many years constantly feeling ill and fatigued and unable to fully embrace and enjoy life with a mystery illness the medical profession could not diagnose or treat after several invasive tests, I sought the aid of an alternative healer who within my first visit discovered I was gluten intolerant. I changed my diet, it changed my life and I was hooked on alternative healing and I wanted to know more. That was in 2002, the beginning of my healing journey. For me healing is like peeling away the layers of an onion, and I just keep peeling away deeper and deeper, clearing, balancing and growing and healing. Healing my physical pain I was able to then focus on my emotional pain, I harboured a lot of anger, I would have violent abusive fits of pure anger and not know where it came from or why I was screaming, it was torture and scary and affecting my life and my marriage. I felt like I was going insane, I was depressed and after an altercation with a family member I had what I call an emotional breakdown.
I was guided (Divinely) to another alternative therapist, he works with Energy, this was new, but I was desperate and would try anything. I worked with this therapist for a while, getting a great deal of relief and we discovered that I had a suppressed memory, buried very deep and was very traumatic. This was part of the cause of my anger and depression. It was two years of working with this therapist before I remembered my traumatic event and was able to really begin to heal.
It was during this time I found my way to Reiki, it was empowering to be able to administer self healing on myself when needed and of course be able to offer this powerful healing energy to my friends and family.
As I found inner peace I found spirituality and my soul purpose - my path. When you find yourself in a black hole and make your way back up to the surface you discover amazing gifts you never knew you had, I am very intuitive and always have been, I am clairvoyant although I had suppressed this also. I am clairsentient and an empath. I work very closely with Archangel Michael in my Reiki healings and readings and have found peace in my soul path. Following my heart and my intuition I opened my own Reiki practice in Brisbane South, Essential Balance Holistic Health where I practice the Usui method of Reiki and after completing training with Doreen Virtue ph.D as a certified Angel Intuitive I now incorporate Angel Therapy into my treatments.
I believe as my mentor taught me that our bodies are the barometer of our soul and we are not fully healed until the soul is healed. Our bodies are constantly giving us clues to what we need, our intuition is always hinting at what would serve us best. Ignoring these clues and hints can lead us to inner turmoil or physical pain and illness. The best thing we can do for our health is to be ourselves, our true selves and listen to what our bodies need. Sometimes, life can throw us a curve ball and when we can't make sense of it all Reiki is a wonderful way to help begin peeling away those layers and let your own story and healing journey unfold.
I invite you to begin your healing journey with me while I continue on mine and share with you some stories along the way. One of my biggest issues this life time has been anger, one of the most damaging emotions there is, when consumed by it, it has a life of its own and for some is very hard to control. After another break down and break through I'm in a magnificent place and have managed to safely release and resolve my anger issues. It is my opinion that this issue would never of been dealt with using any other healing modality.
My vision for my Reiki practice is simply to be available to anyone who wants help on their healing journey. I am a mother of two beautiful children and wife to a very supportive husband. I am a very grounded down to earth person with a passion for learning, a love of spiritual healing and empowering others to be all that they can be.
