Treatments

Remedial Therapy/Massage is based on ascertaining a person’s specific injury to identify the source of the patient’s pain This is achieved with varying muscle testing techniques, massage and stretching. Remedial Massage is also often known as Deep Tissue Massage.

Trigger Point Therapy is a method used to effectively and quickly release muscle spasm Many common complaints that occur in specific relationship to muscular dysfunction are easily released with this simple approach. In conjunction with stretching techniques TPI relieves muscle pain, constriction and tenderness very effectively.

Sports Massage is regarded as a therapy which goes beyond a relaxing therapeutic massage, reducing excessive muscle tension.

Traditional Thai Massage is a therapy for flexibility, relaxation and energy balance. It is a unique style of massage with a combination of yoga stretching and compression techniques. It generally takes 1 ½ - 2 hours to complete a treatment and takes place on a futon on the floor. TIM is great for anyone who wants to feel invigorated but relaxed at the same time, It is especially good for sporting people who need to increase flexibility, but you do not need to be a sporting person to appreciate this style.

Stretching Treatments are based on a combination of Traditional Thai stretching and PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching techniques to accommodate clients who wish to increase flexibility, range of movement and to ease muscle pain. It is a 1 hour treatment which leaves you feeling invigorated but very relaxed.

Bowen Therapy is a very gentle and relaxing dynamic remedial bodywork technique that works on the connective tissue structures of the body. It rebalances and harmonizes the body on a physical, emotional and energetic level and is known for its fast and lasting relief of pain and discomfort. It is applied by using a series of sequential moves on the body, activating and promoting inner healing resources, enabling balance of the body’s many systems
