My Belief in Homeopathy
As a health professional I believe that it is vitally important to educate and equip the public with the means to treat themselves and their families at home. With common illnesses such as cold and flu or minor mishaps and accidents the sooner treatment can begin the more effective it is. The main aim of my consultations are to ascertain the core of the case and to offer advice on diet and lifestyle and the use of homeopathics and supplements for support. Once the healing process is begun I act as a facilitator and guide my clients occasionally as needed. It is important to have remedies on hand for first aid treatment. With many ailments and first aid treaments if you begin treatment straight away you can drastically reduce the time taken for convalescence.
I offer two standard first aid kits, a children’s kit, pregnancy and breast feeding kit, birthing kit, cold and flu kit, digestive health kit, and a stress less kit. Also available for purchase are customised flower essence blends, white light essences, tissue salts and homeoprophylaxis remedies.
I have always had an interest in Natural Therapies and have spent over ten years working in both retail and clinical environments advising people on health matters.
I wanted to learn as much as I could about Homeopathy and nutrition to better aid my family and friends and broader community. I have completed an advanced diploma in homeopathy and also specialise in Nutrition and Flower essences. Alongside my homeopathic studies I decided to undertake an additional two yrs of nutrition and have studied with the Life academy and Australian Bush Flower essences.
Along side my consulting work I am also working as a Trainer for Australian Bush Flower Essences. Previously I have also worked at the Homeopathic Education Centre. I believe that it is vitally important to educate and empower my clients so that they can take part in their own healing journey. I have found that my studies have made an amazing impact on my philosophy of life and the quality of my own life and the lives of my friends and family who and clients.

My Philosophy
Homeopathy is a modality that is unique in the way that it works on bringing all aspects of health back into balance. From a homeopathic perspective all disease states result from an imbalance in the energy field. Over the course of an individual life imprints of every experience are stored in our energy fields. Negative experiences alter our energy field and this imbalance can leave us susceptible to disease states and mental/emotional imbalances. Homeopathic Remedies work on the theory that "like cures like". During the consultation process a Homeopath questions the patient and cross references the information gained from the consultation to find a "similimum". A similimum is a remedy that shows the most similar symptoms to those of the patient. By administering the similimum we resolve the symptoms.
To complement this I feel that the body needs to have the right building blocks to create the changes needed. This is why I feel that common sense nutritional advice is needed to complete the healing process. The energy medicine works, as a catalyst to create change and good quality nutrition is needed to support the changes needed to be made.
