At the Hot Yoga Room, we believe that the purpose of yoga is to experience ever deepening strength and relaxation in the body, providing the opportunity for peace in the mind. Our teachers will support you in achieving both greater body awareness and mental acuity through individualised attention to your specific needs.
Our classes are inspired by world renowned Yoga Masters such as Baron Baptiste, Beryl Birch and Bryan Krest, these great teachers are leading Yoga innovators in America today, there very popularized style of yoga is known as Power Vinyasa Yoga or the Baptiste Method– a meticulous combination of Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha yoga resulting in a flowing, challenging and moving meditation.

Our Approach
Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced, having devoted themselves to both the practise of yoga and the fine art of teaching.
Dedicated yoga practitioners know that the purpose of the practice is not to create a body that meets social standards of beauty, but to provide a space for the relaxation of such ideas, and the true and lasting stillness that comes from a mind at peace.
We warm the room to a gentle 26-28 degrees Celsius, we limit the heating of our studio because we teach in a manner that supports the body in generating internal heat.
Internal heat is the aim of Power Vinyasa Yoga, vinyasa means to synchronize the asanas (yoga poses) with the breath (prana), it is like a dynamic dance the flowing movements, breath and bandhas create heat in the body and this heat internally purifies and cleanses our organs, glands, nerves and blood.
Increases the heart rate and metabolism (which burns calories) improves your flexibility and strength, relaxes the nervous system and balances the endocrine system (hormones) .
Our classes are accessible and our teachers are practical, ensuring that at all times you feel guided and supported to deepen your own practise in the manner that is best for you.
