Massages
Relaxation Massage (Swedish)
Swedish massage is a relaxation technique. The gentle, soothing stimulation of the soft tissue and muscle is a wonderful means of calming the nerves and improving overall circulation. Swedish massage leaves you with a lovely, relaxed feeling of general well-being, and is a perfect introduction for those who are new to massage.
Remedial Massage
A firmer technique is addopted for remedial therapy. It is designed to treat specific musculo-skeletal problems and injuries. A thorough assessment is made of posture and skeletal function in order to tailor a treatment program just for you.
Cupping Therapy
The deep tissue, remedial therapy of cupping is used by creating negative pressure within suction cups that are placed on the body, drawing up the underlying tissue. This in turn activates blood and lymph in the area, increasing circulation and promoting healing. Conditions that respond well to cupping include: muscle tension and spasms, fibromyalgia, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, asthma and respiratory problems.
Hawaiian Hot Stone Massage
