At Ina Bliss I specialise in the use of an ancient Hawaiian massage therapy called Traditional Old Style Lomi Lomi. Lomi Lomi is a restorative Hawaiian style massage working gently yet deeply into the muscles. Continuous flowing strokes enable the recipient to relax due to the ultimately hypnotic effect - bringing ones mind to a place of absolute stillness.
Touch, rhythm and ancient wisdom come together allowing healing to occur. Lomi Lomi works from the belief that memories are not just stored in the brain and mind, but also in every cell of the body. The long continuous strokes are designed to help the body let go of its old patterns and behaviours which can cause as much stress and strain as muscle tension. Through its rhythm and patterns Lomi Lomi activates meridians, energy points, releases energetic blocks and allows the body's own healing processes to take over.
The benefits of Lomi Lomi are many and unique to each individual as are the benefits of most other massage styles.

Massage Rates
My price is not per hour but a set rate for each massage session.
Why a set rate? With many spas and clinics offering prices based on time spent, I prefer to allow my clients to receive a massage for as long as they wish, or as long as is intuitively required and not push them out the door because the time has run out. This may seem unconventional in this day and age however I believe this the way it is meant to be for true unconditional service and the way it has traditionally been for Lomi Lomi.
