What is Tai Chi ?
Tai Chi (Taijichuan) originated in ancient China as a martial art. Tai Chi is also a natural healing system and moving meditation. Visually it resembles an effortless dance, but in reality each movement is performed with a great deal of focus and internal strength.
Millions of people practice Tai Chi as an effective exercise to relax and reduce stress for a healthy mind and body. Tai Chi is unique among the world's exercise systems. It is also a living philosophy, dynamic moving meditation, holistic healing system and a self defence art.
What is Qi Gong?
Qi Gong or Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese healing system for developing and enhancing your Chi. A combination of Breathing techniques, Flowing movement and Meditation calms the mind and heals the body. Qi Gong is an integral part of Tai Chi.
What is Chi?
Chi or Qi has several meanings. Some common meanings are air, breath and energy.
Chi is often translated as the Life Force energy that is within all living things, people, animals, nature as well as the world around us. Through Tai Chi we can enhance and strengthen our energy and vitality, we create a harmonious alignment within ourselves, our environment and nature.

Tai Chi classes are held in a safe, comfortable and peaceful environment.
New Tai Chi for beginners will commence Thursday mornings in July.
