Here at Inner Wellbeing we use a special form of Colon Hydrotherapy know as the "Brunelle Method". Unlike most colonic irrigation, this method uses pure, medical oxygen which is circulated into the water throughout the therapeutic treatment, producing an antiseptic and healing effect on the colon.
Majella's Story
Majella discovered this mode of Hydrotherapy while in Australia. Having suffered most of her life with bowel problems, this method of hydrotherapy worked wonders for Majella. Chronic constipation, abdominal cramps and hospital visits were a regular part of her life. She then faced major Bowel Surgery.
"If only I had known about this therapy years ago. Unfortunately Bowel trouble is not a thing people talk about. It is treated as a hidden dirty shameful subject. Like me, people who suffer feel they are the only ones. I tried to always present a cheerful disposition outwardly while inwardly I felt broken up, depressed and thought there was no way out. The mind and the body work together, the emotional will effect the physical and the physical not been right will effect your emotional. Because my emotional state was not good, i worked for years with other forms of therapy, such as healing, inner child, councelling etc.. These go hand in hand. I have a passion for my work and can understand the mentality that goes with this suffering. There is not enough education about the bowel." she explains.
Majella had tried many therapies, and her problem was really taking over her life. However when she discovered this Brunelle method of Hydrotherapy, she began to notice a real change. This method of colonic worked so well for Majella that she decided to study the anatomy and train in Colon Hydrotherapy, graduating in 2002.
"We try to educate all my patients as much as I can about the importance of their bowel, mineral absorption and good Bacteria.
