Kimberley Alexander has been massaging since 2006 and in that time has immersed herself in a multitude of environments, this has resulted in her gaining experience working with the elderly, in corporate environments, at Endota Spa, and in a Chiropractic clinic for 2.5 years. Her massage philosophy is to treat holistically and her current modalities include Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy and Neuromuscular techniques. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy).

Kimberley Alexander is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT).

Pilates

Pilates is a specialized movement programme, which increases body awareness by rediscovering your full potential of Breath, Pelvic Floor/Abdominal strength, Spinal articulation and length, Shoulder and Pelvic stability. This is achieved by a specific series of exercises (Pre-Pilates) that are designed to break dysfunctional neuromuscular patterning whilst offering the body a new movement pattern. The client then progresses onto traditional equipment, incorporating the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, Electric Chair, Spine Corrector, High Barrel, into your workout repertoire.

The equipment pieces are designed to enhance your body’s proprioception and challenge your Core Strength. When the individual applies this new information about their body to their daily activities they begin the wonderful, empowering journey of movement from a new place.

We offer small classes consisting of 4 participants to 1 teacher. The classes are run with each individual doing their own specific workout, which has been tailored to their needs each week.

Our aim is to address any postural imbalances regardless of age, flexibility or previous histories of injuries. The Pilates Method enhances body awareness, addressing any muscular imbalances throughout the body, which enables you to hold good postural alignment with endurance.
