For every patient the treatment will be different. All Herbal Remedies are individually dispensed. They are usually recommended in combination with Australian Bush Flower Essences, nutritional supplements and an Iridology assessment.
About the Centre...
My personal journey to Natural Therapies began when I was working as a Registered Nurse in 1985. After travelling to India on a holiday I contracted an illness that saw me spending time in a Russian Hospital in Moscow. On my return to Australia I spent 12 months under medical supervision trying to find a cure and repair the side effects of the illness. Unfortunately I remained unwell.
It was at this time a nursing colleague suggested I see a herbalist and from this point my journey began. Natural Therapies opened up a myriad of choices. With the help of several practitioners and modalities I finally regained my health and increased my knowledge and awareness tenfold.
Today, after 30 years combined experience in both orthodox and complementary medicine I have relocated the Jacaranda Natural Health Centre to Coffs Harbour.

HORMONE IMBALANCES
Premenstrual and menopausal symptoms often interfere on a daily basis with our lives. Even though these are usually natural experiences for most females it does not mean we have to endure the uncomfortable side effects. Hot flushes, sleeplessness, premenstrual tension, mood swings, heavy, absent or painful menstruation are some of the many symptoms that can occur with hormone imbalances.
The initial consultation usually takes approximately one hour and follow up consultations are from 3 to 8 week intervals.

INFERTILITY—MALE & FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
Today more than ever, falling pregnant doesn’t always go to plan. It is considered the causes of infertility are shared almost equally between males and females. Lifestyle, age, chemical exposure and hormonal imbalances make up only a few reasons why conceiving a baby can be difficult. When it comes to infertility remember no matter how difficult or hopeless your health issues seem “WHEN YOU THINK THERE IS NOTHING LEFT, THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE”.

PRE-CONCEPTION CARE
Don’t wait until you have a diagnosed medical condition. Prepare your body with good health and balanced hormones at least 6 months prior to trying to conceive. There are no guarantees but preparation may prevent a lot of difficulties and disappointments later on.
Many couples wait to feel settled and secure in their lives and careers before starting a family and this often means they are older when trying to conceive. It is vitally important to be prepared, informed and as healthy as you can be. Learn all about your hormones, the menstrual cycle and the best times to conceive.
Usually both partners are present for the first consultation which can take several hours. All treatments are dispensed on an individual basis. Follow up appointments are from 3 to 8 week intervals.

CHILDREN—BABIES
The initial consultation is for approximately one hour and follow up consultations are usually from 4 – 8 weeks. Children respond very quickly and don’t usually need to be seen for very long.

“...after struggling for many heartbreaking years with infertility. I had been under the care of a Fertility Specialist for quite some time, with no success, and month after month of disappointments when the blood tests returned negative pregnancy results.

After that first month of trying I began to notice I was feeling a little different, so I went to my doctor for a blood test. The next day they phoned with the amazing news – I was pregnant. I continued to see Jayne throughout my pregnancy and gave birth to beautiful, healthy and alert little boy.
