Living in the Bacchus Marsh area with my husband two children and the family cat, I firmly believe that a happy life is a well balanced life, balance of the mind body and soul. With a background in Psychology, counselling and employment consulting I feel that I can do even more to help people with the balance everybody needs to maintain health and wellbeing. Having a passion for working with, and helping people, I appreciate the importance and numerous benefits of healing touch. These are some of the things that have motivated me to work as a Remedial Massage Therapist.

What to expect
I will come to your house and bring my massage table, all natural massage oil with essential oils, CD for ambience and towels for draping. After the intake paperwok and assessment (this applies to remedial appointments). You will be given towels to wrap yourself in. During the massage, you will lie on a cushioned massage table (or massage chair) and I will employ skillfully-positioned towels to protect your dignities. My table measures 186cm (L) x 55 (W) with maximum Weight Capacity of 250kg. To receive the massage you will be given privacy to unclothe and position yourself on the table under the towel (underwear is a requirement). The important thing here is that you feel comfortable. If you're very self-conscious or want to keep some of your clothes on, do. It's your massage and you need to feel comfortable if you're going to feel more relaxed! I will work with whatever suits you.
Relaxation Massage
A relaxation massage is a whole-body hands-on treatment that uses pressure, stroking and rubbing of your skin to help you relax. Most massage treatments will relax you, among other things. With a relaxation massage, relaxing you is the only aim. For this reason, it is one of the most complete and indulgent massages you can have.
Definitions vary, but a relaxation massage is a treatment involving soft music, soft lighting and aromatherapy oils. You will have a long, luxurious massage which will use various kinds of techniques including long strokes, gentle kneading and rolling of skin and muscle. This is the massage to choose if you just want to chill out, and be pampered and spoiled
Remedial Massage
A remedial massage is a specific therapeutic treatment that uses deeper pressure, tigger point therapy and stretching to the affected and related areas. The aim of Remedial massage is to aid in healing the injured/traumatized area to return the muscle to health and increase range of movement and alleviate pain.
If you need to see a physiotherapist or osteopath it is recommended that you also see a remedial massage therapist to assist in your recovery. Healthcare rebates will be available for remedial appointments. Please contact me for more details.
Workplace Massage
Workplace or Corporate Massage is a 5-10 minute seated massage performed in the workplace or at corporate functions. The benefits are numerous: It physically and mentally relaxes the employee and is motivational and creates goodwill with the employer and amongst employees.
