Be amazed at how your body and health can change over time
Our bodies are amazing and most of the time all the components work together to keep our health in balance. However, if something goes wrong things can just seem to get worse and worse with one thing leading to another. Do you know what I mean?
My aim is to get you back to a state of balance. This state of balance is different for everyone, so one of the steps in achieving this balance is your awareness of what helps you to meet your individual physical, emotional and spiritual needs for the long term.
I have a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from Melbourne’s highly respected Southern School of Natural Therapies and lifelong interest in natural therapies and spiritual growth. I am consistently fascinated by the wonders of the human body and mind and regularly participate in seminars and research activities so that I add to the knowledge I have to share.

Naturopathy helps connect you with your goals
Everyone's goals are different, they may be:
To feel vibrant and energetic
To be your perfect weight
To have a baby
To have good digestion
To best manage a chronic illness
To have a regular menstrual cycle
To run a marathon
The holistic approach of Naturopathy aims to identify the factors that may be preventing you from achieving these goals: allergies/sensitivities, stress at work, digestive insufficiency, negative thinking, hormonal imbalance, poor food choices, chronic illness, etc, etc.
Then, treatments are aimed at reducing these factors improving how you feel, and how your body functions now and for long term well being.
The ultimate goal is to optimise your own natural innate healing ability and strengthen your vitality so you can achieve everything you desire!
Fertility in Prahran
Naturopathy can help optimise you and your partner’s fertility whether trying to achieve pregnancy naturally or with the help of assisted reproductive technologies. Enhancing nutrition, pre-conception detoxification programs, regulation of the menstrual cycle and hormone levels, improvement of egg and sperm quality, and management of conditions such as endometriosis and PCOS are ways in which Naturopathy optimises fertility.
I work with acupuncturist and TCM practitioner, Amanda Waaldyk giving you the choice to combine proven treatments and have the best chance for pregnancy success. Find out more about Amanda at http://www.naturaltherapypages.com.au/therapist/waaldyk/14607
Food as medicine•lifestyle coaching•nutritional supplements•herbal medicines•changing habits•homoeopathy•flower essences
Using food as medicine and small changes in the way you do things can make amazing long term differences to the way you feel and your ability to get what you want. Combined with individualised supplements and remedies you can be best placed to achieve physiological balance and strengthen your innate healing ability.
Naturopathy – it can help you
Naturopathic health care combines traditional practices of a variety of natural therapies with modern day science to help you overcome, manage or prevent illness. It can complement conventional medical care or be utilised independently to relieve symptoms and improve physiological function in illnesses such as:
- stress, anxiety, depression
- weight gain or loss
- indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation
- fatigue, headaches, insomnia
- menstrual pain or irregularity, infertility (PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids)
- childhood illnesses
- thyroid imbalances
- unexplained symptoms
- asthma, hayfever, bronchitis
- skin conditions
- HIV infection, autoimmune disease, cancer
- urinary tract infections, thrush
- menopause
- diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol
- arthritis, osteoporosis
Naturopathy can be particularly valuable in maximising your well-being when living with a long-term illness. It helps by minimising the challenges to your health while increasing positive influences, reducing any medication side-effects, and lessening your risk for developing additional health problems.
Naturopathic health care is also well suited to those people who wish to maintain well-being, gain a better understanding of their constitutional predispositions, age well, and prevent future illness.
