Jing's Acupuncture & Massage Therapy

OVER 13 YEARS ACUPUNCTURE AND CHINESE MEDICINE EXPERIENCE

Born in china, the third generation of family practise in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Having grown up with Chinese Medicine, I have experienced firsthand the benefits of Acupuncture and Herbal treatments, and having 6 years acupuncture experience in China, 5years working experience in Sydney,2 years practice in vic. i am able to explain clearly the Chinese medical perspective of your condition and what needs to be done to bring about recovery. I consider each person to be completely unique and all treatments are tailor-made to suit the individual.

acupuncture is the super-fine, hair-like needles go into specific points on the body in order to re-balance the regulatory systems of the body. For this reason, it can treat an extremely broad range of disorders. An acupuncture treatment is rarely painful – sensations can vary from nothing to a slight tingle to a deep “pulling” sensation – and is usually both calming and relaxing. Japanese style needles are available too, which is as fine as you can’t feel it.

Remedial Massage : When muscles and tendons become damaged or impaired, knotted and tense or immobile, Remedial Massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow.
Remedial massage holistically treats the whole body and traces the discomfort as far as possible back to the original cause, healing both the cause of the disorder as well as the symptoms.

Moxibustion is the burning of a herb over acupuncture points in order to provide a gentle warmth. Jing uses it to relieve pain/spasms, relax stiff muscles/joints and stimulate the reproductive, digestive, respiratory and immune systems. It is also becoming increasingly renowned for its ability to turn a baby in breech position.

Gua Sha is a technique utilizing a smooth round-edged tool to rub along muscle fibers. It promotes blood flow to the superficial areas of the muscle, and is an excellent way to relieve muscular tension and knots. It is a simple technique to perform and Jing is happy to show people how to do it on themselves in order to enhance the healing process

Cupping is the use of vacuum cups to stimulate blood circulation to a particular area of the body. The increased blood flow maximizes the nourishment of the tissue and helps the immune system to clear the by-products of inflammation. For this reason, cupping is an excellent therapy for stiff/painful muscles.
