Acupuncture
The practices of Acupuncture in China can be dated back to 3000 years ago. Acupuncture provides you treatment from a holistic approach, which means treating the root of illness, both physical and mental. Acupuncture benefits you by providing drug-free pain relief, effectively treats a wide range of acute and chronic ailments, treats the underlying cause of illness as well as the symptoms, assists in the prevention against disease and illness as well as the maintenance of general well-being.
Acupuncturist diagnoses patients’ conditions according to Yin/Yang and Five Elements Theory, and then provides appropriate treatments to them. Chinese Herbal Medicine
In Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, the aims are to help you to strengthen your defence and vital energy and eliminate the disease or evil energy that causes your illness. Chinese Herbalist will undertake a thorough consultation with you, to know your past medical history, family history, major complaints and symptoms. Herbalist will also feel your pulse and look at your tongue. By doing so, the herbalist will be able to determine your current condition and confirm the diagnosis about your illness, and then giving you the most appropriate treatment. There are many forms of Herbal Medicines:
Herbal Tea/Decoction: formulated raw herbal package to be boiled up at home. Cooking approximately 30~90mins depending on the size and nature of formulation.
Herbal Pills/Capsules: patented herbal pills/capsules products prescribed by herbalist to suit different disease conditions. All products are manufactured by GMP qualified manufacturer and registered with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia, ensuring highest quality and safety control, AUSTL numbers are printed on each packaging of products for patient’s reference and research. Dosage altered according to herbalist’s prescriptions.
Concentrated Herbal granule/Powder:concentrated Herbal granule/powder are produced from GMP qualified manufacturer and registered by TGA in Australia.
Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage is a type of deep tissue massage and assisting in helping you to relief muscle pin and stiffness, enhance blood circulation, and revive your mental clarity and lift your energy. Treatment are available in 15/30/60 mins sessions. Areas for massage include head, neck, back, four limbs, fingers and toes. Reflexology is also available up on request.
Gua Sha Treatment (Scrapping)
Gua Sha is a traditional healing techniques that practiced by Chinese to stimulate the skin and the underlying tissues, and encourage the free-flow of energy and blood in the meridians. Gua Sha will stimulate a cleansing action on the body by effects the skin of the individual. Gua Sha breaks up solidifying waste products hiding in subcutaneous tissue, leaving these impurities in a state where excretion via perspiration or by reintroducing them to the bloodstream for excretion by the liver and kidneys is the result.
Cupping Treatment
Cupping treatment is to use glass cups with smooth edges to create vacuum effects on skin to stimulates the energy and blood flow, enhance immune system and draws toxins to the surface of the skin. As the treatment assisting in the circulation of energy and blood, local stagnation, toxin and waste materials can be clear from body. Cupping treatment normally will leave slight bruises or marks on skin, which comes from the suction cups draw blood to the external capillaries of the body.
