LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
The Lymphatic system is our front line of defence in fighting bodily infections, detoxifying the body and transporting metabolic wastes, excess water, bacteria and toxins out of the body.
Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle whole body treatment that aids the body's immune system. It is used as a tool to maintain good health by promoting the clearance of excess body fluids and toxic wastes promoting detoxification. It is recommended for those that practice disease prevention.
Lymphoedema can develop after surgery or radiation causing swelling and pain from fluid building up in tissues. Lymphatic drainage is offered to those clients suffering lymphoedema that require regular massage to drain fluid from their swollen limbs. Trained in the Casley-Smith method of lymphatic drainage I stimulate lymph nodes to drain fluid away from affected areas relieving the pain and discomfort associated with lymphoedema.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE
A pregnancy massage can relieve tension, reduce peripheral swelling, soothe the nervous system, help to prevent insomnia and muscle cramps and relieve back pain. A relaxing way to treat yourself, shorten labour time and aid the return to optimal fitness after birth.
