What to expect from a consultation
Karuna follows a Holistic Approach. She identifies the imbalances in the person’s body constitution. It could be due to improper diet, lack of sleep, stress, lifestyle or climatic changes. The diagnosis is based on tongue, eyes, nails, skin, general body examination, chakra analysis and pulse diagnosis. She seeks to balance the body by proper diet, lifestyle advice, herbs, yoga & meditation.
In Ayurveda there are 500 species of herbs which are used to treat the different diseases. They are in form of pills, powders, resins, oils and the wine of herbs.

Shirodhara - 30 minutes - $75
This ancient healing therapy is used for treatment of depression, headaches and sinus problems. A continuous flow of oil streams onto the forehead which calms the mind and purifies the body.
Indian head Massage - 30 minutes - $45
The head, neck and shoulders are important energy centers in the body. If the person feel stressed, then tension accumulates in these regions. The massage is an effective therapy for stiffness in the neck and shoulders insomnia, headaches, sinusitis etc.
Ayurvedic Face & Skin Care - 1 hour - $65
It is universally accepted that herbs have qualitative edge over chemical cosmetics, herbal face packs can rejuvenate, cleanse, tone, moisturize and protect the skin thus prevent premature ageing.
Accupressure - 45 minutes - $65

Advantages of using acupressure include relieving pain, balancing the body, and maintaining good health. Acupressure's healing touch reduces tension, increases circulation, and enables the body to relax deeply.
Kati Vasti - 30 minutes - $45
This is an intensely soothing massage treatment, in which warm herbalised oil is applied to the lower back area using a dam (container) made from dough. Kati Vasti is highly effective in relieving lower back pain and any complaints affecting the abdomen. This includes the irritable bowel syndrome, endometriosis,, menstrual and urinary tract disorders.
