Katy Hannah is a registered nurse and qualified reflexologist and massage therapist based in Melbourne, Australia. She has practised in the field of natural therapies since 1999.
Therapies Available
Remedial Massage and Reflexology are useful in treating symptoms of back pain, premenstrual tension, constipation, migraines, fatigue, depression, diabetes, sinus issues and symptoms common to pregnancy.
Remedial massage is conducted on a massage table. I use a variety of oils and ointments to work the skin tissues according to the individual needs of the client. The treatments are strictly therapeutic and nonsexual. Various stretches are incorporated into the treatment.
Reflexology may be conducted on a massage table or chair with the feet raised in an upright position. Generally the whole foot and lower leg are worked on during the session. During which a variety of pressures and techniques are used to bring about changes within the skin tissues. Sensitivities within the feet will often indicate problem areas within the body.
Massage and reflexology are not just for people with problems,they are also very affective in the prevention of illness.
