“KEY to SERENITY”, the Reiki Practice run by Ali ORuairc offers both Reiki treatments as well as Reiki classes in the Usui System of Natural Healing. What is Reiki? Reiki is a natural and non invasive healing art which allows us access to the infinite energy of the Universe. This energy may be experienced in the body as warmth or tingling and in more subtle ways as compassion, stillness, presence, inner peace, unconditional love, or higher consciousness. Nurtured by the stillness, your body’s own self healing mechanisms will activate.

Reiki Treatment: Reiki is a simple and gentle way to deal with illness or injury and to manage your personal energy system so you can support your personal growth and maintain emotional balance and handle stress. What happens? When the Reiki practitioner places their hands on the client, the Reiki energy is drawn from the collective power of the Universe, which is infinite, and not from their own personal energy. Reiki I: opening to a Gift of Love
In the Reiki first degree class you will become connected to the Universal Energy, through a process called initiation; you will learn and practice the hand positions for a Reiki treatment on yourself and others. You will also learn about the other elements of the Usui System of Natural Healing that support Reiki as an wholistic healing method for the body, mind and spirit. A commitment to using Reiki on a daily basis throughout your life will open the door to a journey of recovery and self discovery.

Reiki II: beyond Time and Space Reiki second degree is 2 full days, usually a weekend, for those previously initiated into Reiki 1 and wishing to deepen their experience, or practice professionally. You will be introduced to the Reiki symbols and learn and practice their application to a variety of situations. If you are ready for delving deeper into the mysteries of healing, working beyond the illusions of time and space, and expanding your capacity for compassion and healing, then Reiki II may be your next step.

Meet Ali ORuairc
“KEY to SERENITY” is a Reiki Practice run by Ali ORuairc where you will be warmly welcomed, listened to supportively, respectfully cared for and your whole being nurtured. An elder and grandmother, Ali brings her own inner peace, insight, wisdom and humour to her role as practitioner, teacher and mentor. She has a wide variety of eclectic interests and experience in both worldly and spiritual matters such as permaculture, self sufficiency and sustainable living, including better nutrition and traditional food preparation; from exploring the personal expressions of art, music and dance, to the divine experiences of the inner directed spiritual path.
Ali ORuairc is a Reiki Master (teacher) and practitioner of the Usui System of Natural Healing or Usui Shiki Ryoho, a Reiki method founded by Mikao Usui in Japan, as taught and extensively practiced by Hawayo Takata who brought it to the West. Usui Shiki Ryoho continues to be taught in this form today by her grand-daughter Phyllis Furumoto the current lineage bearer, and by many Reiki masters, including Ali ORuairc, forming a world wide group who are in alignment with this system.
Ali ORuairc belongs to Reiki Australia, an organisation that supports and promotes Reiki at the personal, professional and community levels. Being a Master/Teacher member involves abiding by their Code of Ethics and holding current Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
