She has experience in treating a wide range of health issues, with a particular focus on male and female fertility issues, ivf and pregnancy support treatment, as well as emotional health and well-being.
SERVICES I am a highly experienced, University qualified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, with a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, from the University of Technology Sydney. I have also trained with one of the top acupuncturists in Australia, Ross Penman.
Why is this important? When it comes to your health, you want to know you are in the best hands. My study has not only allowed me to gain an in depth understanding Chinese Medicine, but I have comprehensive knowledge of biomedicine.
You also want to understand your body, your health and how treatment will help you. Chinese Medicine is based in a language of broad, energetic and philosophical concepts. This is often a new language and way of looking at your health and wellbeing. I try a much as possible to explain these concepts and where relevant relate them to a language that is more familiar, such as a biomedical framework.
I am an accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and recognised by private health funds.
HOW I CAN HELP YOU
I am particularly passionate about the following areas
Fertility and Conception, & IVF support
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine can support both male and female fertility by -
• Ensuring proper circulation of qi and blood, with organs nourished and meridians balanced.
• Addressing all other aspects of health and well being that could be having an impact, such as stress, diet and emotional issues.
This has effects on the production and function of sperm in males, and the endocrine and hormonal balance in females.
