About Dawn Charlton
Lomi Lomi is a restorative Hawaiian massage that works gently, yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes. This allows the recipient to relax due to the hypnotic effect, bringing your mind to a place of absolute stillness. Touch, rhythm and ancient wisdom come together, allowing healing to occur.
Lomi Lomi aids in relieving physical pain and emotional distress. Through its rhythm and patterns it activates meridians and energy points, releases energetic blocks and allows th bodies own healing process to take over.
Traditional Old Style Lomi Lomi is a style of massage that has been practiced in Hawaii for hundreds of years. It has been carefully and respectfully passed down through a lineage to ensure that it remains unchanged from the original form. Kahu Sherman Dudoit spent ten years searching for the right person to carry on this lineage. Through this exahaustive process he found Dawn Charlton. Dawn has been chosen to continue to teach this ancient traditional form of massage and healing in the original form.

COURSE DETAILS
Over three days you will live in a natural environment, nourished by good food and wonderful teachings You will learn the first stage of lomi lomi and receive individual attention and guidance from Dawn. As part of the philosophy you will be encouraged in a safe and loving environment to release barriers and attain your full potential as a massage therapist.
Dawn Charlton was born into this life gifted with a divine dispensation. We are all gifted at conception in different ways, and we go on to express these throughout our lives. Dawn's gift is that she carries an ability “to see” beyond the façade. Her grandmother was a well known medium in England who was very close to Leslie Flint, a very famous psychic and medium who underwent scientific study to test his abilities. No scientific explanation could be found for his gifts, one of which was the phenomenon of emitting “ectoplasm” from his mouth and hands. Ectoplasm is a physical manifestation of mana, in the form of milky or thick liquid, usually from the mouth of a medium entranced.
Dawn's gifts also extend past “seeing” to a natural healing ability. She has frequently been called upon to assist people in their “dying” process. Animals also come to “pass on” with her presence assisting. This is a very rare gift.
