As an artist, wellness facilitator & doula, Lia is passionate about all forms of creativity. Collaborating with people, exploring the natural world & how best to nurture it by nurturing ourselves. She's interested in the subtleties of the body & the expansive loving potential of being human. Qi gong,AcuEnergetics, gestalt counseling, Body Mind Centering movement, kinesiology, yoga, meditation & art all have her attention & curiosity. She facilitates a grounding & integrating approach within the heart of any matter.
World travel from a young age, over coming personal illness, life changes & challenges, loving womanhood & supporting friends & family have all provided nourishing discoveries. Culminating as sources of inspiration & skills that engage her to work specifically with creative & birthing practices, women's health, family & children. She is associated with Optimum Birth & is currently a Practitioner level AcuEnergetics student. (www.acuenergetics.com)
For over 15 years Lia has held a personal mind, body, spirit practice whilst learning a variety of health modalities & practices from gifted teachers in Australia & abroad. Enabling her to increasing her awareness, calm her nervous system & enhance the natural flow in her vital energy. This has allowed new levels of health & aliveness, a deepening within all relationships & most poignantly her own intimate inner happiness. She enjoys embracing both contemporary science & ancient traditional wisdom from this natural world splendor in which we co-inhabit.
